Setup

1. Unpacking and Initial Inspection

2. Charging the Battery

  1. Insert the battery pack into the battery charger.
  2. Plug the charger into a power outlet. The charge lamp will illuminate orange.

3. Inserting the Battery and Memory Card

Open the battery/card slot cover on the bottom of the camera.

  • Insert the charged battery pack until it clicks into place.
  • Insert an SD/SDHC memory card with the label facing the back of the camera until it clicks.
  • Close the cover securely.

Basic Photography Modes

  4. Press the shutter button all the way down to take the picture.

Reviewing Images

Press the Playback button to view your captured images. Use the directional pad to navigate through photos. Press the DISP. button to change the information displayed.
