    Question

Are there any phone apps compatible with the Armstrong EXP streaming box?

    Answer

Yes, the Armstrong EXP Stream Box is compatible with several mobile applications depending on your needs:

    • Armstrong EXP App: You can download the official Armstrong EXP app (available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store) to manage your recordings, browse listings, and sometimes stream content on your mobile device.
    • Google TV / Google Home: Since the EXP Stream Box is an Android TV-based device, you can use the Google TV app (formerly Google Play Movies & TV) on your phone as a virtual remote control. Additionally, the Google Home app can be used to manage the device and cast content.
    • TiVo App: Because the EXP system is powered by TiVo, the TiVo mobile app is often compatible for scheduling recordings and remote management.
    • Third-Party Streaming Apps: Many apps installed on your phone (like YouTube, Netflix, or Disney+) can "cast" content directly to the EXP Stream Box using its built-in Chromecast functionality.

Please note that you must be signed into your Google Account on the EXP Stream Box to utilize many of these integrated features.
