Getting Started

To capture videos or photosyou will need TF card (sold separately)You can navigate using the buttons specified in this manual or use the touchscreen to confirm options.

Note:

1. Please format the TF card first in this camera before using itTo keep your TF card in good conditionwe recommend reformatting it on a regular basis. Reformatting erases all your contentso be sure to save your photos and videos on a computer or external drive.

2. FAT32 format TF card stops recording when the storage of each file is over 3.6GB and starts to record again on a new file.

Powering On and Off the Camera

Power On: Press and hold the Mode button for three seconds.
Power Off: Press and hold the Mode button for three seconds or slide from up to down and touch the Power Off icon.

Switching Modes

Press the Mode button to switch between the different modes.

Turning On/Off Wi-Fi

With the camera powered onlong press the Up button to turn on WiFiTo turn off WiFipress the Up button again.

Video Modes: In the different Video modespress the OK button to start recording videoPress OK button again to stop recording video.

Photo Mode: In Photo mode press the OK button to take individual pictures.

Settings:

Turn on the camerathen press and hold the OK button for 2 seconds to access the settingsUse the Up/Down buttons or touch the touchscreen to navigate and select options directly.

Mode:

Choose to enter the mode settings and press the Up/Down button to navigate through Video/Photo modesor touch the screen to select the mode directlyVideo Mode: Video/SlowMo/Loop/LapsePhoto Photo/Auto/Burst/Timer.

Playback:

To play video and photo, ensure the camera is in the playback menu play icon. Use the Up/Down buttons or touch the touchscreen to select files, and press OK to play.

System Settings

To adjust video/photo setting, make sure you are in the correct interface and press and hold OKChoose to enter the settings menu. Use the Up/Down buttons or touch the touchscreen to scroll through main options and press OK to selectUse the Mode button to switch between Video/Photo SettingsSystem Settingsor Exit.

Distortion Correction: This function can automatically adjust the video, clear the edgesstraighten the distortion correctionand make the captured video more realistic.

White Balance: It can calibrate the deviation of color temperature and adjust the white balance during shooting to achieve the desired image effect.

Battery Charging:

1.Connect the camera to a computer or to a power adapter to charge the camera using the supplied cable.

2. You can also charge the camera in the car using a USB car charger. 3. You can use the camera while it is being charged.

Indicator light

  • Blue Light: Flashes quickly when recording video and briefly when taking photo.
  • Red LightStays on during charging and turns off when fully charged.
  • Yellow LightIn WiFi modealternates with the blue light while recording video and flashes briefly when taking a photo.

Connecting Camera to PC

Connect the camera to a PC and turn on the cameraThe screen will display with 3 modesCharging ModeMass Storage Mode and Camera Mode. Press the up or down button to choose the mode you prefer.

• Charging Mode: Press OK button to charge the camera.

Mass Storage Mode: Press OK button to enter the USB mode for playback of videos and photos.

• Camera ModePress OK button to use the camera as a PC camera.

APP Installation

Please download and install XDVPRO” APP on your smartphone.

• For Android: Search and install XDV-PRO” on Google Play store or scan QR code below.

• For iPhoneSearch and install XDVPRO” on Apple APP store or scan QR code below.

WiFi Connection:

1. After powering on the cameralong press the up buttonThe WiFi information will be displayedand WiFi will be enabledYou can also go to the System Settings and turn on the WiFi function.

2. Search the WiFi nameARGAC9190BK” in your smartphone or tablet and enter the password, “1234567890“.

3. Open the XDVPRO” APPWith this free app you can preview the active screenaccess videos and photos remotelyand files can be played back, downloaded, deletedor shared.

Note: For APP installationyour phone system requires to be Android 4.1 and above or iOS 7 or higher.

Proper Maintenance for the Camera

Follow these guidelines to get the best performance from your camera:

1. For the best audio performanceshake the camera or blow on the mic to remove all debris from the microphone holes.

2. To clean the lenswipe it with a softlintfree cloth.

3. Do not insert foreign objects around the lens.

4. Don’t touch the lens with your fingers.

5. Keep the camera away from drops and bumpswhich may cause damage to the parts inside.

6. Keep the camera away from high temperature and strong sunshine to avoid being damaged.

Maximizing Battery Life

Battery Storage and Handling

The camera contains sensitive componentsincluding the batteryAvoid exposing your camera to very cold or very hot temperaturesLow or high temperature conditions may temporarily shorten the battery life or cause the camera to temporarily stop working properlyAvoid dramatic changes in temperature or humidity when using the cameraas condensation may form on or within the camera.

Do not dry the camera or battery with an external heat source such as a microwave oven or hair dryer. Damage to the camera or battery caused by contact with liquid inside the camera is not covered under the warranty.

Do not store your battery with metal objectssuch as coinskeys or necklaces. If the battery terminals come in contact with metal objectsthis may cause fire.

Do not make any unauthorized alterations to the camera. Doing so may compromise safetyregulatory complianceperformanceand may void the warranty.

WARNING: Do not dropdisassembleopencrushbenddeformpunctureshredmicrowaveincinerate or paint the camera or battery.

Do not insert foreign objects into the battery opening on the camera. Do not use the camera or the battery if it has been damaged – for exampleif crackedpunctured or harmed by water. Disassembling or puncturing the battery can cause an explosion or fire.
