Thank you for purchasing our Waterproof 4K WiFi Action Camera. The Epic 90 enables you to capture your dynamic and versatile moments in 4K 60fps video or 24MP photos. Includes a full lineup of accessories for every extreme sport and can be used in underwater events up to 21m (no casing required). Warning

WARNING: It is imperative to securely fasten the cover on the camera before submerging it in water. Failure to do so may cause leaks that could potentially harm or render your camera inoperable. Please be advised that any water damage resulting from user error is not covered under warranty.
Getting Started
To capture videos or photos, you will need a TF card (sold separately). You can navigate using the buttons specified in this manual or use the touchscreen to confirm options.
Note:
1. Please format the TF card first in this camera before using it. To keep your TF card in good condition, we recommend reformatting it on a regular basis. Reformatting erases all your content, so be sure to save your photos and videos on a computer or external drive.
2. FAT32 format TF card stops recording when the storage of each file is over 3.6GB and starts to record again on a new file.
Powering On and Off the Camera
Power On: Press and hold the Mode button for three seconds.
Power Off: Press and hold the Mode button for three seconds or slide from up to down and touch the Power Off icon.
Switching Modes
Press the Mode button to switch between the different modes.
Turning On/Off Wi-Fi
With the camera powered on, long press the Up button to turn on Wi–Fi. To turn off Wi–Fi, press the Up button again.
Modes
The camera supports 8 modes: Video Recording, Slow Motion Recording, Loop Recording, Lapse Recording, Photo, Auto, Burst, and Timer.
Video Modes: In the different Video modes, press the OK button to start recording video. Press OK button again to stop recording video.
Photo Mode: In Photo mode press the OK button to take individual pictures.
Settings:
Turn on the camera, then press and hold the OK button for 2 seconds to access the settings. Use the Up/Down buttons or touch the touchscreen to navigate and select options directly.
Mode:
Choose to enter the mode settings and press the Up/Down button to navigate through Video/Photo modes, or touch the screen to select the mode directly. Video Mode: Video/Slow–Mo/Loop/Lapse. Photo Photo/Auto/Burst/Timer.
Playback:
To play video and photo, ensure the camera is in the playback menu play icon. Use the Up/Down buttons or touch the touchscreen to select files, and press OK to play.
System Settings
To adjust video/photo setting, make sure you are in the correct interface and press and hold OK. Choose to enter the settings menu. Use the Up/Down buttons or touch the touchscreen to scroll through main options and press OK to select. Use the Mode button to switch between Video/Photo Settings, System Settings, or Exit.

Note:
Distortion Correction: This function can automatically adjust the video, clear the edges, straighten the distortion correction, and make the captured video more realistic.
White Balance: It can calibrate the deviation of color temperature and adjust the white balance during shooting to achieve the desired image effect.
Activating Electronic Video Stabilization (EIS)
please ensure that Distortion Correction is turned off, as both options cannot be enabled simultaneously. Additionally, EIS is supported only at the following resolutions: 4K/30FPS, 2.7K/30FPS, 1080P/60FPS, and 1080P/30FPS. Please note that EIS is not available at 4K/60FPS.

Press the Mode Button to select the last option Button to exit the Settings Menu.
Back & Front Screen Switching and press the OK
Long press the Down Button. The back and front screen can be switched to video and photo modes. The back screen goes off after switching to the front screen display, and the front screen goes off after switching to the back screen display.
Battery Charging:
1.Connect the camera to a computer or to a power adapter to charge the camera using the supplied cable.
2. You can also charge the camera in the car using a USB car charger. 3. You can use the camera while it is being charged.
Indicator light
- Blue Light: Flashes quickly when recording video and briefly when taking a photo.
- Red Light: Stays on during charging and turns off when fully charged.
- Yellow Light: In WiFi mode, alternates with the blue light while recording video and flashes briefly when taking a photo.
Connecting Camera to a PC
Connect the camera to a PC and turn on the camera. The screen will display with 3 modes: Charging Mode, Mass Storage Mode and Camera Mode. Press the up or down button to choose the mode you prefer.
• Charging Mode: Press OK button to charge the camera.
Mass Storage Mode: Press OK button to enter the USB mode for playback of videos and photos.
• Camera Mode: Press OK button to use the camera as a PC camera.
APP Installation
Please download and install “XDV–PRO” APP on your smartphone.
• For Android: Search and install “XDV-PRO” on Google Play store or scan QR code below.
• For iPhone: Search and install “XDV–PRO” on Apple APP store or scan QR code below.
WiFi Connection:
1. After powering on the camera, long press the up button. The WiFi information will be displayed, and WiFi will be enabled. You can also go to the System Settings and turn on the WiFi function.
2. Search the WiFi name, “ARG–AC–9190BK” in your smartphone or tablet and enter the password, “1234567890“.
3. Open the “XDV–PRO” APP. With this free app you can preview the active screen, access videos and photos remotely, and files can be played back, downloaded, deleted, or shared.
Note: For APP installation, your phone system requires to be Android 4.1 and above or iOS 7 or higher.
Proper Maintenance for the Camera
Follow these guidelines to get the best performance from your camera:
1. For the best audio performance, shake the camera or blow on the mic to remove all debris from the microphone holes.
2. To clean the lens, wipe it with a soft, lint–free cloth.
3. Do not insert foreign objects around the lens.
4. Don’t touch the lens with your fingers.
5. Keep the camera away from drops and bumps, which may cause damage to the parts inside.
6. Keep the camera away from high temperature and strong sunshine to avoid being damaged.
Maximizing Battery Life
A message appears on the display if the battery drops below 10%. If the battery reaches 0% while recording, the camera saves the file and powers off. To maximize the battery life, follow these guidelines when possible:
• Turn off Wireless Connections
• Capture video at lower frame rates and resolutions
• Use Screen Saver setting
Battery Storage and Handling
The camera contains sensitive components, including the battery. Avoid exposing your camera to very cold or very hot temperatures. Low or high temperature conditions may temporarily shorten the battery life or cause the camera to temporarily stop working properly. Avoid dramatic changes in temperature or humidity when using the camera, as condensation may form on or within the camera.
Do not dry the camera or battery with an external heat source such as a microwave oven or hair dryer. Damage to the camera or battery caused by contact with liquid inside the camera is not covered under the warranty.
Do not store your battery with metal objects, such as coins, keys or necklaces. If the battery terminals come in contact with metal objects, this may cause a fire.
Do not make any unauthorized alterations to the camera. Doing so may compromise safety, regulatory compliance, performance, and may void the warranty.
WARNING: Do not drop, disassemble, open, crush, bend, deform, puncture, shred, microwave, incinerate or paint the camera or battery.
Do not insert foreign objects into the battery opening on the camera. Do not use the camera or the battery if it has been damaged – for example, if cracked, punctured or harmed by water. Disassembling or puncturing the battery can cause an explosion or fire.
