Getting Started
Download the ArgomTech App from Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Scan the QR code below with your mobile device’s camera or QR code app for quick access.
Note: This installation guide uses the Android version.
The iOS platform may differ slightly, but the same concepts apply
- Open the app. When launching it for the first time, you’ll need to grant certain permissions.
The first prompt will request access to Notifications. Tap ‘Allow - Then, Agree to the User Agreement and Privacy Policy.
- You must register an account to access all the camera features. Tap on Sign Up.
- Select your region from the drop-down menu, then enter the email address you’d like to register with. Once done, click the agreement checkbox, then click ‘Get Verification Code.
- A verification code will be sent to the registered email. Enter this number on the prompted screen.
- Set a password between 6-20 characters, using a mix of letters and numbers. Once complete, tap ‘Done.’
- A prompt to enable permissions for data analysis and personalized recommendations will appear. You can disable this or leave it enabled by default. Tap ‘Go to App.’
- Now that the app is properly configured, insert 3 MA batteries into the smart scale. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the scale. Open the compartment cover, insert the batteries with the correct polarity, and securely close the cover.
- The smart scale will tum on automatically when it detects weight. To activate the scale, step onto it or place a suitable weight on the surface. The display will light up, indicating that it has powered on and is ready for pairing.
- In the app, tap ‘Add Device.’ You will be prompted to grant location permissions. Tap ‘Continue,’ then select ‘While using the app.
