Why does the remote control display a different temperature than the Sharp Air app and thermostat during scheduled operations?
It is common for the physical remote control to show a different value than the Sharp Air app or a separate thermostat because the remote typically displays the last command it manually sent to the unit, rather than reflecting real-time changes made via the cloud or automated schedules.
According to the manual, the app features a 7-day scheduler and Smart Sleep functions that operate independently of the remote's manual settings. When the app's scheduler changes the temperature (e.g., to 20°C), the air conditioner receives this command via Wi-Fi, but the physical remote control's screen does not update automatically to match because it is a one-way infrared transmitter in most configurations.
