Apps Infineon Developer Center Software User Guide
With Battery Powered Applications (BPA) motor control GUI you can configure, turn and test the 6EDL7141 and IMD700A parameters on BLDC or FOC motor control boards. Important: this GUI tool is only for evaluation purposes and NOT for production use. Here are steps to install GUI in Infineon Toolbox
Step 1:download the latest version of Infineon Developer Center and install it using this link: Infineon Toolbox – Infineon Technologies
Note
- Infineon Toolbox has now a new name of “Infineon Developer Center (IDC)”
- if you have already installed the previous Infineon Toolbox, please click “Check for launcher update” to update your Toolbox.
Step 2: Open Infineon Developer Center (IDC) and login using your myInfineon account:
Create a new myInfineon account:
In case that you do not have myInfineon account, please open following link to register and create a myInfineon account: Semiconductor & System Solutions – Infineon Technologies
Note: for Infineon internal users the log in will be automatically done after clicking login button.
Step 3: Select “Mange Tools” -> click “B” -> find tool “BPA Motor Control GUI” and select the version that you want to install-> click Install:
Note: there are more versions available in Infineon Developer Center, choose the one that you want to install.
Step 4: In My Tools, clicking Start to open the GUI tool:
After opening the GUI tool, you can see the GUI:
Clicking Help menu to open the User Guide about how to use the GUI
