Recovery Phrase
Your recovery phrase is the only way to recover and manage your hardware wallet. For security, keep it safe and do not store it on any internet-connected device. We strongly recommend writing it down and storing it securely.
Key Precautions

  1. Stay Offline: Do not enter the recovery phrase generated by the hardware wallet into any online app wallet, as it will compromise the security of the hardware wallet.
  2. Prevent Leakage: If someone else gains access to your recovery phrase, they can fully control your wallet and transfer your funds. Ensure no one else knows your recovery phrase.
  3. Secure Storage: Store the handwritten recovery phrase in a secure, discreet location, such as a fireproof safe. Consider making multiple copies and storing them in different places to avoid loss.
  4. Loss or Damage: If your hardware wallet is lost, damaged, or stolen, you can use the recovery phrase to restore your assets on a new hardware wallet or compatible software wallet.
  5. Lost or Leaked Recovery Phrase: If your recovery phrase is lost or leaked and your hardware wallet is still usable, immediately transfer the assets to a secure wallet to prevent theft.
Properly safeguarding your recovery phrase is essential for the security of your digital assets. Follow the above guidelines to ensure your asset security.
