Capture VS Apps
Summary
This guide will show how to enable push notifications from Capture VS App.
Requirments
- Capture device initialized and set up on a network
- Device added to Capture VS App
Instructions
- Open Capture VS App. Under Home menu, you will see Capture device that has been added.
- Tap on the ··· icon, and then select Device Details.
- Tap Notification
- Tap the toggle to enable Notification for the recorder.
- Select the notification type you wish to receive. In this article, we select Motion Detection.
- There are two type of Motion Detection, regular Motion Detection and Smart Motion Detection. In this article, we select regular Motion Detection.
- Select the channel you wish to receive notification when motion triggered. Then Tap on < icon twice to return to the previous menu.
- Tap Save.
- You will now will start receiving push notification when motion is triggered.
Note: on iPhone, when DMSS app is running in background or closed, you must click on notification banner to view the event.
