FAQS
Is this device always-on? As in, will the Bluetooth transmitter go to sleep if it doesn’t detect audio for awhile?
Yes, we have noticed that if it is not detected any device then the device turn the led light red, In the opposite way the led will show a blue light when a device is connected. We are very satisfied with this purchase.
Can this device transmit to two separate speakers at the same time?
This is used to receive audio via bluetooth. For example, I send music from my phone to this and it feeds it to my home stereo system. You can connect as many speakers as you like to the audio output plugs but you need some kind of amplifier to power your speakER.
Whats the amps power. I’d like to connect 2 outdoor speakers and wondering if I can get enough sound to fill the yard with sound?
The Amped Wireless plugs into an input jack on an amplifier like a stereo receiver. The amplifier powers the speakers. The Amped Wireless Device receives bluetooth signal from a bluetooh phone or tablet letting you stream music wirelessly to YOUR AMP and SPEAKERS.
If I buy 3 of these for 3 different systems in my house, can I pick which one and can I stream to all 3 at same time
You can stream to different amped units because they each will show up as a different unit on your Bluetooth enabled phone or tablet. But…on my phone or tablet only one amped device can be connected at a time.

Can you use wired speakers with this device??
You cannot wire speakers directly to this but you can connect a receiver or amplifier that powers the wired
speakers.
Transmitter is connected to alexa but only music comes from echo dot not amplifer any suggestions on what can be done to get my system up n running?
remove all connections then make connection to amplifier
Own and live in a 3 story concrete and steel building with extra open cat5 wires runs, can I modify
the antenna and attach to these wires? If so how?
Yes, while not optimal, you can run line level audio over Cat5. To carry stereo, you need L+, R+, and LR-. Pick 3 conductors and custom wire an RJ45 connector to work.
Will this work with amplified PC 2.1 speakers?
should work with any amplified speaker set, it is really no different than plugging in any outside source. As long as the speakers have a built in amplifier you are good to go.
What versions of Bluetooth does this device support?
Supports versions 1-3 on Bluetooth devices.
if you are using a different bluetooth speaker adapter will it have interference? (ie. you are trying to
use two bluetooth speaker adapters at the same time but in two different rooms)
With my set up, I’m pairing my Amped Bluetooth speaker adapter with my iPhone/iPod. The iPhone/iPod will not pair with more than one Bluetooth device, so I don’t see how you’re going to use two. If you’re using two iPhone/iPods with each pairing to a separate Bluetooth speaker adapter, there should be no problem – I haven’t tried it (I’m assuming that the Bluetooth frequencies don’t interfere with each other!)
Does this unit support the APT-X codec?
Yes it does.
