Waste Disposal

Handling, Maintenance and Safety

  • Please DO NOT place heavy objects on your E707 E-reader; failure to do so may result in damage to the display panel.
  • The touch panel surface can be easily scratched. Please operate with care and avoid contact damage with other objects.
  • Touch the screen with your finger only. DO NOT use sharp or metallic objects, which may cause scratches and damage.
  • Please use the standard USB-C cable to charge the device; failure to do so may cause damage to it.
  • Before cleaning the equipment, the power must be cut off. Please DO NOT use alcohol, liquid, or spray-type detergents to clean the equipment.
  • Please wipe the surface of the appliance with a soft cloth dampened with water or non-alcoholic cleaners, or gently wipe the display with a soft, lint-free cloth.
  • Use a soft cloth to remove dust from the display. The touch screen surface has a special protective coating that prevents dust from sticking to it; failing to use a soft cloth may cause damage to this protective coating.
  • Please DO NOT disassemble the equipment. For your safety, only qualified service personnel should open the equipment.
  • The operating temperature range is 0-40°C; please use this E-reader within this range.

Basic Troubleshooting

The device is unable to power on successfully

When the battery is fully discharged, the unit will not turn on. Fully charge the battery before turning on the unit.

Touch screen responds slowly or is unresponsive

  • If you install a screen protector or use third-party accessories on the touch screen, the touch screen may not function properly.
  • The touch screen may fail to respond if you wear gloves, have unclean fingers, or touch the screen with sharp objects or your fingernails.
  • The touch screen may fail in wet conditions.
  • Restart your device to clear any temporary software errors.
  • Confirm that your device’s software is updated to the latest version.

Equipment crashes or experiences serious heating issues

Try the following solutions. If the problem persists, please contact the designated after-sales service center.

  • Reboot the device: If issues occur, you may need to close active applications, or power the device off and on again.
  • Force restart: If the unit fails to respond, press and hold the power key for more than 10 seconds to restart the device.
  • Reset: If the steps above do not resolve the issue, perform a factory-reset operation. Please remember to back up all important data stored in the unit before performing a factory reset.

Signal is often interrupted

  • Weak signal: Check your surroundings for interference, such as microwave ovens, wireless phones, and mobile tablets should stay away from objects that cause interference.

  • Please make sure the battery charger is connected correctly.

Battery runs out faster than when first purchased

  • When the device or battery is exposed to extremely cold or hot temperatures, the effective charge capacity may decrease.
  • The battery is a consumable item and its efficiency will naturally decrease over time.
