Before you start

• Print this page at 100% / Actual Size. In your print dialog, turn OFF “Fit to page” or “Shrink to fit”, and select “Actual Size” (100%) instead — otherwise the ruler below will not be accurate.

Calibration check

• Measure the line below with any ruler or tape measure. It should read exactly 50mm.
• If it doesn’t, adjust your printer’s scale setting and print again before measuring your finger.

Paper strip or string

1. Cut a thin strip of paper (or non-stretch string) about 1cm wide and 10cm long.
2. Wrap it snugly around the base of the finger you’ll wear the ring on — it should slide over the knuckle comfortably but not spin freely.
3. Mark the point where the strip overlaps itself with a pen.
4. Lay the strip flat and place the 0mm mark of the ruler below at the start of the strip. Read the measurement in millimetres where your pen mark falls.
5. Match that number to the chart on page 3 to find your Australian ring size.

Tips for accuracy: measure in the afternoon or evening, when fingers are at their largest. Avoid measuring when cold, after exercise, or first thing in the morning. If you fall between two sizes, size up rather than down — and remember, our resizing policy has you covered.

This chart is a guide based on standard AU/UK ring sizing. Finger size can vary with temperature, time of day and swelling, and hand-measured results carry a small margin of error.
