Recycling and Environmental Protection

We try to avoid using plastic packaging and film and only use them when they are absolutely necessary to protect the product. So how are we different?

Packaging you can eat… Well, almost. 🙂

We use ink made from soybeans as opposed to classic petroleum-based ink.
The majority of our packaging is made from 100% recyclable paper.

We limit the use of adhesives. If necessary, we make sure to choose only water-soluble ones.

We think globally, which means that we actively search for eco-friendly solutions. We keep an eye on trending technology and place findings of the scientific community into practice.We don‘t just try to meet quotas and mandates, we aim to exceed them.

INSTRUCTIONS

Charging

Fully charge the headphones before using it for the first time.
Plug the end of the cable into the USB-C port on the headphones. Plug the other end into a computer or adapter (adapter not included; required parameters: 5 V / 1 A).
The LED indicator will glow red.
When the headphones are charged, the LED will turn white. Disconnect the charging cable from the headphones and the computer or charger.
Note: When not using the headphones for longer periods, continue to charge them regularly.

Pairing

When using for the first time:
Switch on the headphones using the MFB button. The headphones will automatically switch to pairing mode.
Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile device and start searching for available devices.
Select the APW Mesa ANC headset model from the list displayed to start automatic pairing.
When the headphones are paired, the white LED will flash slowly (about once every 10 sec-onds).

Re-pairing with an already paired device:

Switch on the headphones using the MFB button. The headset will automatically connect to the most recently paired device.

Pairing with another device

Turn off the Bluetooth on the device to which the headphones were connected.

The LED light should now alternately flash red and white. If this does not work, please reset the device to factory settings and try again.
Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile device and start searching for available devices.
Select the APW Mesa ANC headset model from the list displayed to start automatic pairing.

When Bluetooth is activated on the original device, the headphones will reconnect.
However, Bluetooth on the currently connected device must be turned off first.

Factory reset

A factory reset will return the headphone settings to their default state, and all your device pairings will be erased. This may help with problems pairing your headphones.
Switch on the headphones using the MFB button. Press and hold the volume +/- buttons simultaneously for approximately 10 seconds or until the red LED flashes three times. This indicates that the factory reset was successful.
To pair the headset with your device, follow the instructions in “Pairing”.

Turning On	Press MFB for 2 seconds.
Turning Off	Press MFB for 4 seconds.
Answer/end call	Short-press MFB.
Reject call	Press MFB for 1.5 seconds.
Skip to previous track	Press the – button for 2 seconds.
Skip to the next track	Press the + button for 2 seconds.
Volume up	Short-press “+”.
Volume down	Short-press “–”.
Voice assistant activation	Press MFB three times.
Play/Pause	Short-press MFB.

Game mode	Press MFB twice.
Switch mode	Press ANC to turn ANC on or off or to select transparency mode.
When ANC mode is on, double-click the ANC button to turn adaptive ANC on / off.

Cleaning

Keep the headset clean. Use only dry cloth for cleaning. Do not use cleaning agents, chemicals, solvents, etc. Do not immerse in water or other liquids.

After recharging, unplug the headphones from the charger.
Only use the product for its designed purpose.

Avoid extended exposure of the product to high or low temperatures. Keep the product dry.
Do not disassemble the product. Attempting to modify the product may damage it and result in serious injury.

Warning: To avoid the risk of hearing damage, do not listen to music at too high a volume for a long time.
