Connection With Third Party Applications
This guide provides instructions on how to connect your devices with third-party applications such as Alexa and Google Home.
Alexa Integration
Link Setup
- Click “Me” in the app.
- Click the Alexa icon.
- Click “Sign in with Amazon”.
- Click “Link” to connect HomeBud with Alexa.
- Wait for the binding process, which may take up to 30 seconds.
- Once linked, HomeBud is now connected to Alexa. You can control linked devices with voice commands.
Google Home Integration
Link Setup
- Click “Me” in the app.
- Click the Google Assistant icon.
- Click “Link with Google Assistant”.
- The screen will pass through the Google Home app.
- Click “Agree and Link” to connect your HomeBud account with Google.
- Choose the device you want to connect and click “Next”.
- Select the home and click “Next”.
- Select the room and click “Next”.
- HomeBud is now connected to Google Home. You can now reopen the HomeBud app.
