The M6 measuring microphone is suitable to analyze your room’s acoustics with confidence. such as theater – recording studio -control room design & stage acoustics, to measure the technical references.
POWER SUPPLY
phantom power (+48V)is required to operate your microphone. We assume no liability for damage caused to your microphone through defective phantom power. Before activating phantom power, mute your playback system and connect it to the microphone input of your mixing console. After activating phantom power, the microphone requires several seconds to stabilize itself.
AUDIO CONNECTION
To connect the microphone to your equipment use a balanced XLR microphone cable with the following pin assignment:Pin1=shielding, pin 2=+,pin 3=-. Since all contact points of the microphone are gold-plated, your microphone cable should feature gold-connectors, if possible.
FREQUENCY RESPONSE
Each microphone is individually calibrated. The frequency response and sensitivity are given in the calibration chart.
DIRECTIONAL CHARACTERISTIC
Microphone with Omni polar pattern are most sensitive to sound coming from in each angle of the microphone.
