Overview
- Thank you for choosing our waterless essential oil aroma diffuser.
- With the latest cold diffusion technology, it converts essential oil into nano vapor to approximately 1-3 microns without using heat or water.
- The diffusing process does not damage the molecular structure, therefore maintaining its therapeutic properties for easier absorption into the body.
- It is easier, more hygienic, and safer. We make it compact enough for you to fit it into your car cup holders so that you may take it with you wherever you go.
- As it is compatible with the majority of essential oils available, it gives you the freedom to choose from a wide range of fragrances that soothe you, relax you, or refresh you in a variety of situations.
- Using it with sanitizing essential oils can improve unpleasant odors and help purify the air around it.
Cautions
- DO NOT invert or tilt the device once the oil bottle is installed.
- DO NOT use it with agarwood, camphor tree, dried orange peel, or eaglewood oils.
- DO NOT mix your 100% essential oil with water when the device is in use. This will cause failure to atomize (mist not visible).
- DO NOT attempt to disassemble the device.
- If the mist output reduces noticeably, please clean the diffuser according to our instructions.
- For more quiet use, ensure the device is 6 feet away. Keep the device away from children and pets. The thicker the oil, the less diffusing capability.
- If you do not plan to use this device for an extended time, please fully charge it at least once in every 3 months.

- Timer Indicator
- In Timer-off Mode the timer indicator remains off, and the device stays on until it runs out of battery.

Tap: set a timer- 1/2/3H & Timer-off mode
- When time is up, the diffuser will automatically turn off. Press & hold the power button to turn it back on.
Mist Level Explained
Level L
- 5 seconds of diffusing, then a pause of 180s
Level M
- 15 seconds of diffusing, then a pause of 150s
Level H
- 30 seconds of diffusing, then a pause of 120s
The green LED remains on when the device is diffusing the oil and flashes when diffusing is paused.
Timer-off Mode
- Tap the ‘Timer’ button until the timer light turns off.
- There, to determine whether or not ‘Timer-off Mode’ is on, simply check if the timer light is off and the mist light is on.
Bottle Installation
- The capacity of the essential oil bottle is max. 20 ml.
- This device is compatible with 5-20 ml USA standard oil bottles.
Removal:
- Lift the nozzle from the diffuser;
- Turn the bottle clockwise to remove the bottle, and then fill in the essential oil.
Installation
- Screw the bottle counterclockwise to fix the bottle to the nozzle.
Charging
Normal charging time: approx. 4.5 hours. If the charging current is below 1A, it will take longer to fully charge the device.
Fully charge this diffuser before using it the first time.- As charging cycles increase, battery capacity will decrease.
- You may charge from a 5V adapter ONLY, PC/MAC USB port, or USB interface within your vehicle. Please ensure the use of safety-certified charging accessories.

FAQ
Q1: How to select the right essential oil?
Use 100% pure essential oils. Resin and thick oil are not recommended. Agarwood camphor tree dried orange peel eaglewood oils are prohibited.
Q3: I feel like it stops running sometimes, but the mist level indicator remains blinking, what has happened?
Please refer to section 5 for the mist level explained The device can optimize atomizing pausing automatically according to the mist level which intermittently operates.
Q4: How long does it take to fully charge the device?
Normally around 4.5 hours.
Q5: Can I mix my 100% essential oil with water?
No. This will cause failing to atomize mist not visible.
Q6: Can I mix my 100% essential oil with carrier oil?
Yes you can.
Q7: Why is the green light above the mist level flashing?
The mist output is pausing as it is intermittent.
Warning
- Improper placement of the diffuser when an essential oil bottle is installed might cause oil leakage (eg. when the unit is tilted at an angle larger than 45°).
Cleaning Scenta Diffusers
- Draw 90% ethyl/ethanol alcohol into the cleaning syringe until it’s half full (approx. 3-5 ML);
- Inject it into the atomizer;
- Wipe the diffuser and table dry.

I bought this in June 2025. Have rarely used it. Cleaned 3-4 times. Little/no mist. Found a video of how to clean. It shows alcohol squirting out of a sm hole on the black tube in the unit. I have never seen that. The syringe sent with it will not fit into or around the black tube- no seal.The alcohol just pours out of the top where they connect. Solution?
How do I properly use the cleaning syringe on the Scenta Basic diffuser when it won't seal against the tube, and why is there little to no mist?
