Installation
- Ensure the HVAC system is turned off before installation.

Circular Sound Attenuators
AIRTECHNIC circular sound attenuators KH and KHX are designed for installation in HVAC systems with circular fans and ducts, in order to reduce the fan noise. Optional connection flanges might be required in order to connect the attenuator directly to the fans (for more information please contact our technical department).
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS KH / KHX
2 models: KHX with inner core and KH without inner core.
Casing in galvanised steel with nominal thickness 0,8 mm for diameters up to Ø1.250 mm and 1,0 mm for larger diameters. Possible to produce casing with any thickness, in stainless steel or copper, under request. 2 connection options: Type A with mounting flange with threaded insert and Type B with connecting neck. Sound absorbent material: Mineral wool, 70 Kg/m3 density, fire resistance M0, protected against fabric erosion. Inner casing from perforated metal sheet. Acoustic data tested in accordance to EN ISO 7235. Holes and connectiong neck are manufactured according to Eurovent Standards. KHX models are manufactured with an inner core for increased attenuation requirements. Standard lengths: [1 x D], [1,5 x D] and [2 x D]. Possible to produce at any length, under request.
