Installation Descriptions
Installation tools
Size Inspection and Requirements of Door
Check the opening size of the door before installation
Measure to confirm that the backset is either 2-3/8″or 2-3/4″(60 or 70mm).
Measure to confirm the hole in the door is 2-1/8″ (54mm).
Measure to confirm that the hole in the door is 1″(25mm).
Measure to confirm that door thickness is between 1-3/8″ and 2″(35mm to 50mm).
Latch installation
Make sure that the latch “TOP” icon faces upward
If it is not in the center position, rotate and pull the latch as shown in the figure to make it in the center position of the door hole
Securing latch screw
Make sure the latch is retracted before installation and flush with the door edge before installation.
Installation of Exterior Lock and Retainer Plate
a. Route the cable below the latch.
b. IMPORTANT: Bolt must be in unlock position. Note horizontal orientation of torque blade.
c. Route the cable through the hole in the mounting plate.
d. Secure the mounting plate with the supplied screws.
Installation precautions for rear retainer plate
a. Make sure the rear retainer plate “UP” icon faces upward.
b. Check if the rear retainer plate is applied to the door and aligned with the bore.
Install Rear Lock Assembly
Do not place a battery until the latch is fully installed. Adjust the position of door lock rotary switch according to the installation guidance for the left and right doors.
Fix Rear Lock
a. Remove the battery cover.
b. Connect the cable firmly.
c. Retract the power control cable into the hole
d. Insert torque blade into the internal assembly lock switch horizontally.
e. Installation is finished after fixing the rear lock on the retainer plate with screws
