Figure 7.1: Intelligent Protection Features
Table 7.1: Fault Symptoms and Solutions
Fault SymbolFault EventWhat to do
No output voltageFind the cause according to the following protections:
  • Check entry circuit continuity.
  • Check that the battery fuse is right.
  • Check all circuit connections are correct.
  • Check the ON/OFF button wiring.
LInput low-voltage protection
  • Low battery, charge needed; the battery capacity cannot meet the requirement of appliances, please increase the battery capacity; the battery is aged, please change the battery.
  • The battery cable gauge is small, the cable is too long or too small, limiting the current input to the inverter.
HInput over-voltage protection
  • The connection of the battery system is incorrect; confirm the input voltage of the battery system matches that of the inverter.
  • The battery charger is faulty, causing the battery voltage to be too high. Remove or replace the charger.
Over-temperature protection
  • The installation environment is not good for heat dissipation; it should be installed in a ventilated, cool and dry environment.
  • The fan is faulty and cannot dissipate heat normally. Check whether the fan is stuck by foreign objects.
  • Reduce the load power; it will automatically restart when the internal temperature is reduced after over-temperature protection.
LOADOverload Protection
  • The power of the appliances exceeds the rated power of the inverter, and the starting power of the load including the motor and compressor needs to be considered.
  • The short-circuit fault of electrical appliances leads to short-circuit protection of the inverter. Disconnect all electrical appliances at the output end of the inverter and test again.
No AC output (Green LED flashing, Alarm sounds 4 times, Inverter overheating)
  • Check that the fan is working correctly, try again when the inverter has been cooling down.
  • Keep the inverter in good ventilation and heat dissipation.
No AC output (Green LED flashing, Alarm sounds 5 times, Load AC exceeds nominal power by 120%, Short circuit in connection)
  • Confirm whether the starting power of the electrical appliance exceeds the maximum continuous power of the inverter.
  • Reduce load.
No AC output (Alarm beeping repeatedly, Output Short circuit protection)
  • Electrical appliances have short circuit failure.
  • Disconnect the electrical outlet from the inverter output outlet and restart the inverter. If working normally, check for short circuit in connected load appliance or line.
Voltage between N and PE (up to 115VAC)This is normal. Inverter output communication does not distinguish hotline and neutral line. If you need to distinguish, contact customer service.
Fan doesn't stop
  • If the inverter has been running without load for a long time, there will be internal temperature, and it is normal for the fan to start working.
  • Turn it off and then turn it on again to check if the fan stops working.
Cannot turn off the inverter (Both remote and main switch)Remote-control problem: If the problem cannot be solved by replacing the network cable, contact after-sales service to replace the remote-control. Switch module problem: contact after-sales service to guide the replacement of the module.
Positive and negative terminals of the battery and the inverter are connected reversely (Reverse polarity protection)If there is no response when starting up, and the internal fuse is burnt, remove the cover of the power inverter and find the faulty fuse and replace it with the spare fuse in the accessories bag.

9. User Tips

  • Appliance Compatibility: If your appliances are inductive loads (e.g., precision instruments, air conditioner, fridge, coffee machine, computer), a pure sine wave inverter is the only suitable option. Modified sine wave inverters are not recommended for these types of loads.
  • Battery Condition: Ensure the battery is sufficient and fully charged for optimal performance and to avoid low-voltage protection shutdowns.
  • Cable Sizing: Check that battery cables are appropriately sized (thicker or shorter) for efficient DC voltage transport to prevent voltage drops and ensure full power delivery.
  • Remote Control: The product is sold with the control screen, which provides convenient monitoring and control.
  • Frequency: The inverter operates at 50Hz. If you require 60Hz, ensure compatibility with your devices or consider alternative solutions, as attempting to modify the frequency can damage appliances.
