5.7. Anti-freeze Function
The thermostat includes an anti-freeze function to prevent damage from low temperatures. This function can be enabled or disabled in the advanced settings.
5.8. Temperature Hysteresis
The thermostat operates with a temperature hysteresis, meaning it will turn on heating when the room temperature drops a certain degree below the set point and turn off when it rises a certain degree above it. The default hysteresis is 0.5°C.

- Verify the 'CHK' code matches the barcode. If not, re-enter the SN.
7. Maintenance
7.1. Cleaning
To clean the thermostat and receiver, use a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the device's surface or internal components.
7.2. Battery Replacement
When the low battery indicator appears on the thermostat's display, replace the two AA batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.
8. Troubleshooting
- No Power/Display on Thermostat: Check if the AA batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
- No Power/Lights on Receiver: Ensure the receiver is properly connected to a 230V AC power supply. Check the power indicator light.
- No Heating/Cooling Response: Verify that the thermostat is in the correct operating mode (Manual or Auto) and the set temperature is appropriate. Check all wiring connections to the gas boiler or actuator.
- Buttons Unresponsive: The child lock function might be active. Long press the Key Lock button for 5 seconds to unlock the thermostat.
- Thermostat not turning on automatically after power outage: Check the 'Power memory' setting in the advanced settings. Ensure it is set to 'on' to allow automatic restart.
- Incorrect Temperature Reading: If the displayed temperature seems inaccurate, you can use the 'AdJ' (Measure temp. calibration) setting in advanced settings to adjust it.
- Signal Issues (Thermostat and Receiver): Ensure the thermostat and receiver are within the 100m control distance. While the 433MHz signal is strong, extreme obstructions like multiple thick concrete walls might reduce range.
9. User Tips
- Signal Range: The radiofrequency signal between the thermostat and receiver is robust. Users have reported good performance even through concrete walls and between different floors of a building.
- Power Memory Function: To ensure your heating system resumes operation automatically after a power interruption, verify that the 'Power memory' setting in the advanced menu is enabled.
- Receiver Sensor: Note that the receiver unit does not contain a temperature sensor. All temperature readings are taken by the main thermostat unit.
- Temperature Calibration: If you notice a consistent discrepancy between the thermostat's reading and the actual room temperature, utilize the 'AdJ' setting in the advanced menu for calibration.
- Multiple Thermostats/Receivers: Each thermostat is designed to pair with a single receiver. If you require control over multiple heating zones, you will need a separate thermostat and receiver pair for each zone.
