2. Safety Information

4. Specifications

5. Installation

The Q5 taillight supports two main mounting methods: Saddle Rail Mount and Seatpost Mount. Ensure the light is securely attached to prevent it from falling off during your ride.

5.1 Saddle Rail Mount (Model TL907Q51)

1. Unscrew the taillight bracket screws using the provided hex key.
2. Position the bracket on the saddle rails.
3. Tighten the screws to secure the bracket.
4. Align the taillight with the bracket and turn it clockwise until it clicks into place.

5.2 Seatpost Mount (Model TL907Q52)

2. Mount the silicone band around the seatpost.

6. Operation

6.1 Power On/Off

• To Power On: Long press the main button until the light illuminates.
• To Power Off: Long press the main button until the light turns off.

6.2 Mode Switching

The Q5 taillight features 4 flash modes. Short press the main button to cycle through the modes:

1. Fast Flash Mode: Quick, intermittent flashes for high visibility.
2. Breathing Flash Mode: Slow, pulsating light.
3. Bright (Steady) Mode: Constant illumination.
4. SOS Mode: International Morse code signal for distress.

6.3 Smart Features

The Q5 taillight is equipped with intelligent sensors for enhanced safety and convenience:

• Brake Sensing: Upon detecting braking, the light will automatically switch to maximum brightness to alert following traffic.
• Automatic On/Off: The light automatically turns on when motion is detected and ambient light is low. It turns off after 30 seconds of inactivity (except in Steady mode).
• Vibration Sensing: The light will automatically illuminate when it senses vibration, such as when you start riding.

6.4 Charging

• Four blue lights: 75%~100% charge

• Brake light not activating: Ensure the light is not in Steady mode, as automatic turn-off after inactivity does not apply to this mode. Check for proper mounting and sufficient vibration/deceleration.
• Light turns off automatically: This is a feature of the smart sensor, designed to save power after 30 seconds of inactivity. If you prefer it to stay on, use the Steady mode.
• Light not visible during the day: While the light has high visibility, direct sunlight can reduce its perceived brightness. Use the brightest flash modes for daytime riding.
