Setup Guide

1. Charging the Camera

Before first use, fully charge the camera. Connect the camera to a DC 5V--500MAH power source using the provided USB cable via the USB Port (6). The indicator light (7) will show charging status (specific color/behavior not detailed, refer to indicator section if available). A full charge takes approximately 1 hour.

2. Inserting a Memory Card

The camera supports MicroSD / TF cards up to 64GB. Ensure the camera is powered off before inserting or removing the memory card. Gently insert the card into the TF Card Slot (5) until it clicks into place. To remove, push the card in slightly until it springs out.

Note: A memory card is required for recording video and audio. The camera does not have built-in memory.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the ON / Video Button (2) for a few seconds until the indicator light (7) illuminates.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the ON / Video Button (2) for a few seconds until the indicator light (7) turns off.

Video Recording

The camera records in 1080P Full HD (1920x1080) at 30 frames per second, using M-JPEG video encoding. It features a 6-layer glass lens for high-quality images.

  • Start Recording: With the camera powered on, press the ON / Video Button (2) once to start video recording. The indicator light (7) will change to indicate recording is in progress.
  • Stop Recording: Press the ON / Video Button (2) again to stop recording. The indicator light (7) will revert to standby mode.
  • Loop Recording: The camera supports loop recording, automatically overwriting the oldest files when the memory card is full.
  • Recording While Charging: Video recording can continue while the camera is connected to a power source for charging.

Audio Recording

The camera can record audio independently for approximately 7 hours on a full charge.

  • Start Audio Recording: Toggle the Audio-recording / Indicator Switch (3) to the audio recording position. The indicator light (7) will change to confirm audio recording is active.
  • Stop Audio Recording: Toggle the Audio-recording / Indicator Switch (3) back to its original position.

Photo Mode

The camera can capture still images.

  • Take Photo: Toggle the Photo / Motion-detection Switch (4) to the photo position and press the ON / Video Button (2) once to capture a photo.

Motion Detection

When motion detection is enabled, the camera will automatically start recording when movement is detected.

  • Activate Motion Detection: Toggle the Photo / Motion-detection Switch (4) to the motion detection position. The camera will enter standby mode and begin recording upon detecting motion.
  • Deactivate Motion Detection: Toggle the Photo / Motion-detection Switch (4) back to its original position.

Data Transfer

To access recorded files, connect the camera to a computer using the USB cable via the USB Port (6). The camera will appear as a removable disk, allowing you to transfer files. The camera supports high-speed data transmission via USB 2.0 interface.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body. For the lens (1), use a specialized lens cleaning cloth to avoid scratches. Do not use liquid cleaners directly on the camera.
  • Storage: Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. If storing for extended periods, charge the battery to about 50% every few months.
  • Memory Card: Regularly back up important recordings from your MicroSD card to a computer. Periodically format the memory card (after backing up data) to maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption.

Troubleshooting
