5. Setup Guide
5.1 Initial Setup of RF Bridge R2
- Download eWeLink App: Search for "eWeLink" in your mobile app store (iOS or Android) and download the application.
- Power On: Connect the RF Bridge R2 to a 5V USB power source using the provided micro USB cable.
- Enter Quick Pairing Mode: After powering on, use a needle or a small pin to poke the reset hole on the device for 5 seconds. The Wi-Fi LED indicator will change, cycling through two short flashes and one long flash, indicating it's in quick pairing mode.
- Add Device in App: Open the eWeLink app, tap the "+" icon, and select "Quick Pairing". Follow the on-screen prompts to connect the RF Bridge R2 to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure your smartphone is close to the Wi-Fi router during this process.

5.2 Pairing 433MHz RF Devices (Sensors/Remotes)
Once the RF Bridge R2 is connected to the eWeLink app, you can add 433MHz RF devices:
- In the eWeLink app, tap on your RF Bridge R2 device.
- Select the type of RF device you want to add (e.g., 1-button, 2-button, Alarm for sensors).
- Follow the app's instructions to put your RF device into learning mode (e.g., long-press a button on the remote or trigger the sensor). The RF Bridge R2 will emit a peak beep when it successfully learns the code.
- Repeat for all desired buttons/sensors.
Note:
- The RF Bridge R2 supports fixed code 433.92MHz frequency devices (e.g., PT2260, PT2262, PT2264, EV1527). It does NOT support rolling code or dynamic code devices.
- You can add up to 16 RF devices or alarms.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Alarm Functions
When a 433MHz sensor (like DW2-RF or PIR3-RF) is added as an alarm device to the RF Bridge R2, it can trigger notifications in the eWeLink app.
- Ensure your DW2-RF or PIR3-RF sensor is successfully paired to the RF Bridge R2 as an "Alarm" type.
- When the sensor is triggered (e.g., door opens, motion detected), the RF Bridge R2 will receive the signal.
- An alarm notification will be displayed on your eWeLink app, and recorded in the device history.

6.2 Creating Smart Scenes
Smart scenes allow you to automate actions based on sensor triggers or remote control presses.
- In the eWeLink app, navigate to the "Scene" section.
- Tap the "+" icon to create a new scene.
- Set Trigger: Choose a smart device (e.g., your DW2-RF sensor) as the trigger. For example, "when the door opens".
- Add Action: Select the action to perform, such as turning on/off a light bulb or another Wi-Fi/ZigBee device connected to eWeLink.
- Name and save your scene.

6.3 Remote Control and Timers
Once 433MHz remote controls are learned by the RF Bridge R2, you can use them to control various devices or set up advanced timing options.
- Simultaneous Control: Use a learned remote to control multiple devices at once through the eWeLink app.
- Timer Options: Set specified time, countdown, or loop execution timers for your RF-controlled devices. For example, automatically turn off lights at 11:00 PM, close curtains after 30 minutes, or cycle a heater every 10 minutes.

7. Maintenance
- Keep Clean: Regularly wipe the device with a dry, soft cloth to remove dust.
- Avoid Moisture: Do not expose the device to water or high humidity.
- Firmware Updates: Keep the eWeLink app and device firmware updated to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
- Power Supply: Use a stable 5V 1A USB power adapter for reliable operation.
8. Troubleshooting
- Device Not Pairing: Ensure the RF Bridge R2 is in quick pairing mode (Wi-Fi LED cycling two short, one long flash). Check that your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. Move the device closer to your router.
- RF Device Not Learning: Confirm the RF device uses a supported fixed 433.92MHz code (PT2260, PT2262, PT2264, EV1527). Ensure the RF device is properly put into learning mode as per its own instructions.
- No Alarm Notifications: Verify that the sensor is correctly paired as an "Alarm" type in the RF Bridge R2 settings within the eWeLink app. Check app notification settings on your phone.
- Smart Scene Not Triggering: Double-check the scene setup in the eWeLink app, ensuring the trigger conditions and actions are correctly configured and enabled.
- Limited Range: The effective range of RF signals can be affected by obstacles and interference. Try repositioning the RF Bridge R2 or the RF sensors for better signal reception.
9. User Tips
- Organize Your Devices: Use clear names for your RF devices and scenes in the eWeLink app to easily manage your smart home setup.
- Test Regularly: Periodically test your alarm functions and smart scenes to ensure they are working as expected.
- Power Source: While the device is powered by USB 5V, ensure you use a reliable power adapter to avoid connectivity issues.
- RF Frequency Compatibility: Always confirm that any new RF devices you wish to integrate are compatible with the 433.92MHz fixed code standard supported by the RF Bridge R2.
