10. User Tips

  • Mirror Link Connection: For Android phones, remember to enable USB debugging in the developer options. Always use the original data cable for the most stable connection. Note that mirror link compatibility might be affected by phone OS updates, especially for iPhones.
  • Power Management: If the unit remains on after turning off your car, check your wiring. The ACC (red) wire should be connected to a power source that switches off with the ignition to prevent battery drain. An appropriate ISO harness for your car model can help ensure correct power management.
  • Sound Quality: If experiencing sound issues, such as sound cutting out during reverse or no sound at all, double-check all speaker and audio output connections.
  • Radio Reception: If FM radio reception is poor, ensure your antenna is properly connected. In some cases, an external antenna or signal amplifier may improve performance.
  • Rear Camera Selection: If purchasing a rear camera separately, consider a higher-quality camera for better image clarity, as some bundled cameras may have lower resolution.
  • Screen Brightness: The display is always on. Adjust the screen brightness in the settings menu for comfortable viewing, especially during night driving.
  • Subwoofer Connection: The unit has RCA audio outputs, allowing for easy connection to an external amplifier and subwoofer for enhanced bass.
  • Media Playback: The unit supports a wide range of audio and video formats from USB drives and TF cards. Ensure your media files are in compatible formats for smooth playback.
