5. Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your thermostat, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Wipe the screen and casing with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the display or internal components.
  • Avoid Moisture: Keep the thermostat dry. Exposure to excessive moisture can lead to malfunction.
  • Regular Checks: Periodically check the wiring connections to ensure they are secure. If you notice any loose connections or damage, consult a qualified electrician.
  • Software Updates (WiFi Models): For WiFi models, ensure your mobile application and thermostat firmware are up to date to benefit from the latest features and security enhancements.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your thermostat, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

Problem Possible Cause / Solution
Thermostat not powering on. Check the main power supply to the thermostat. Ensure all wiring connections are secure and correct according to the installation diagrams.
Heating system not responding to thermostat. Verify the thermostat is in the correct operating mode (Manual or Programmed). Check the set temperature is above the ambient temperature. Inspect wiring to the heating system.
WiFi connection issues (for WiFi models). Ensure your router is powered on and within range. Try restarting your router and the thermostat. When pairing, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone for automatic device discovery. If the WiFi indicator is flashing, it's likely in pairing mode or disconnected.
Buttons are unresponsive or locked. The thermostat may have a child lock feature. Typically, this is activated/deactivated by pressing and holding specific buttons (e.g., the up and down arrows) simultaneously for several seconds. Refer to the detailed English manual for the exact button combination for your model.
Incorrect temperature readings. Ensure the internal or external sensor is not obstructed or placed near a heat source/draft. The thermostat may have a temperature calibration setting in the advanced menu.

If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, please consult a qualified technician or contact customer support.
