6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your PAD-30 amplifier, please consult the following troubleshooting guide before contacting customer support.

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
No power / Power indicator offPower adapter not connected or faulty; Power switch off.Ensure power adapter is securely connected and plugged into a working outlet. Turn the power switch ON. Test with another power adapter if available.
No sound outputIncorrect audio input/output connections; Volume too low; Faulty audio source/speakers.Check all RCA and speaker cable connections for proper seating and polarity. Increase volume. Test with a different audio source or speakers.
Distorted soundVolume too high; Improper speaker impedance; Faulty audio source/cables.Reduce volume. Ensure speakers are within the recommended 4-8 Ω impedance range. Check audio source and cables for damage.
Humming or buzzing noiseGround loop issue; Interference from other electronics; Loose connections.Ensure all components are plugged into the same power strip. Try moving the amplifier away from other electronic devices. Check all cable connections.
Amplifier gets hotNormal operation under high load; Blocked ventilation. Some heat is normal. Ensure adequate ventilation around the amplifier. Do not block side vents. If excessively hot and causing shutdown, reduce volume or check speaker impedance.
