7. Operation

7.1 LCD Display and Settings

The LCD display allows for user-configurable settings. Refer to the inverter's display for current status and to adjust parameters such as:

  • Battery charging current
  • AC/solar charger priority
  • Acceptable input voltage range

7.2 Dual Load Output Power

The inverter features dual AC outputs: a Main Out and a Second Out. The main output port will stop working when the battery voltage falls below a set range (e.g., 20V - 23V). In such cases, only the second output port can continue to operate, providing power to less critical loads.

Dual Load Output Power Diagram
Figure 10: Dual Load Output Power. Illustrates how the Main Out and Second Out ports function, with the Main Out stopping if battery voltage drops below a set threshold (20V-23V), leaving only the Second Out operational.

7.3 Remote Monitoring (Optional)

If equipped with the optional WiFi module, the inverter can be monitored remotely via a dedicated mobile application. Follow the instructions provided with the WiFi module for setup and connection.

8. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Keep the inverter clean and free from dust. Use a dry, soft cloth for cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners.
  • Ventilation: Ensure that the ventilation openings are not blocked to allow for proper airflow and prevent overheating.
  • Connections: Periodically check all electrical connections for tightness and signs of corrosion. Loose connections can lead to overheating and poor performance.
  • Battery Health: Monitor battery voltage and performance regularly. Follow battery manufacturer guidelines for maintenance.
  • Environmental Conditions: Ensure the inverter operates within its specified operating temperature range (-10°C to 55°C) and storage temperature range (-15°C to 60°C) with 5% to 95% relative humidity (non-condensing).

9. Troubleshooting

If the inverter is not functioning as expected, perform the following basic checks:

  • No Power Output: Check AC input, PV input, and battery connections. Ensure all circuit breakers are on.
  • Fault Indicator On: Refer to the inverter's LCD display for specific error codes or messages. Consult the full product manual (if available) for detailed explanations of fault codes.
  • Overload Warning: Reduce the load connected to the inverter. Ensure the total power consumption does not exceed the inverter's rated output power.
  • Over Temperature Warning: Ensure the inverter has adequate ventilation. Clear any obstructions from the cooling vents.
  • Battery Not Charging: Verify PV panel connections and output. Check AC input if AC charging is enabled. Ensure battery settings are correct.
