- Always connect the battery first, then the solar panels, and finally the load. Disconnect in reverse order.
- Install the controller in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
- Ensure the controller is securely mounted to a vertical surface.
- Use appropriate wire gauges (6-12 AWG recommended for power terminals) for all connections.
3.2 Wiring Diagram
The following diagram illustrates a typical solar power system setup with the OOYCYOO MPPT Solar Charge Controller.

Connection Order:
- Connect the battery to the controller's battery terminals (marked with a battery symbol). Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -).
- Connect the solar panels to the controller's PV input terminals (marked with a solar panel symbol). Ensure correct polarity.
- Connect your DC load to the controller's load output terminals (marked with a light bulb symbol). Ensure correct polarity.
- If using an inverter for AC loads, connect the inverter to the battery, not directly to the controller's load terminals.
Note: The controller supports parallel connection of two 60A controllers to achieve a total of 120A MPPT charging capacity.

3.3 Battery Type Selection
The controller is compatible with various battery types. You can select pre-set parameters or define your own. Refer to the LCD display and control buttons for navigation and selection.

4. Operation
4.1 LCD Display
The blacklight LCD display provides real-time information about your solar system's status. It shows:
- PV Input Voltage/Current
- Battery Voltage/Current
- Load Output Voltage/Current
- Total KWH charged
- Battery type and charging status
- Error codes (if any)
4.2 Control Buttons
The controller features several buttons for navigation and settings:
- SET: Enters/exits settings menu, confirms selection.
- A, B, C, D: Navigation and adjustment buttons within the menu.
- A+D Reset (Press 5 Seconds): Resets the controller to factory defaults or clears certain errors.
4.3 Charging Algorithm
The controller utilizes a 4-stage battery charging algorithm for efficient and safe charging:
- Bulk Charge: Charges the battery at its maximum current until it reaches a set voltage.
- Boost Charge: Continues charging at a constant voltage to ensure full charge.
- Float Charge: Maintains the battery at a lower voltage to prevent self-discharge and overcharging.
- Equalization: Periodically overcharges the battery to balance cell voltages (for certain battery types).
5. Maintenance
- Regular Inspection: Periodically check all wiring connections for tightness and signs of corrosion.
- Cleaning: Keep the controller's exterior clean and free from dust. Ensure the ventilation openings are not obstructed.
- Fan Operation: The built-in cooling fan will activate when the internal temperature exceeds 45℃ and turn off when it drops below 40℃. Ensure adequate airflow around the unit.
- Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website for any available firmware updates.

6. Troubleshooting and Protection Functions
