  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Always use fresh 1.5V AAA batteries.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove the batteries and store the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. The recommended storage environment is -10°C to 50°C with max 70% relative humidity.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your HT5005 anemometer, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • Device does not power on: Check if the batteries are installed correctly with the right polarity. Replace with new batteries if necessary.
  • Inaccurate readings: Ensure the fan blades are clean and spinning freely. Make sure the device is positioned correctly in the airflow. Check for any obstructions.
  • Display is dim or flickering: This usually indicates low battery. Replace the batteries.
  • No response from buttons: Try removing and reinserting the batteries to reset the device.

If the problem persists after trying these steps, please contact customer support.

9. User Tips

  • For the most accurate wind speed measurements, hold the anemometer so that the fan blade is directly facing the airflow.
  • When measuring temperature and humidity, allow a few moments for the sensor to stabilize to the ambient conditions.
  • Keep the device away from strong electromagnetic fields, which can interfere with readings.
