5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Brewing Espresso
- Prepare Coffee Grounds: Use freshly ground coffee. For non-pressurized filters, a fine grind suitable for espresso is recommended.
- Dose Coffee: Place the desired filter basket into the 58mm portafilter. Use the dosing ring to help contain the coffee grounds while filling.
- Tamp Coffee: Fill the portafilter with ground coffee and tamp it evenly and firmly using the provided tamper. Ensure the surface is level.
- Attach Portafilter: Securely attach the portafilter to the brew head.
- Pre-infusion: The machine features a uniformly moist pre-infusion technology to ensure full extraction and preserve coffee purity. This happens automatically at the start of the brew cycle.

Figure 3: Pre-infusion function ensures smoother water flow and preserves coffee's purity.
- Start Brewing: Place your espresso cup(s) under the portafilter spouts. Press the brew button to start extraction. The machine operates with a powerful 15 Bar pump and maintains a precise 198°F temperature for optimal extraction.

Figure 4: Upgraded 58mm commercial system with 400+ extraction mesh holes for even extraction.
- Monitor Extraction: Observe the visible pressure gauge and LCD temperature display to ensure optimal brewing conditions. Adjust brewing time according to your taste preferences.
- Stop Brewing: Press the brew button again to stop the flow once the desired volume of espresso is reached.
- Automatic Pressure Relief: The built-in Over Pressure Valve (OPV) automatically releases excess pressure if it becomes too high, maintaining coffee quality and protecting the boiler.
5.2 Frothing Milk
The powerful steam system allows you to create delicate, rich milk foam for lattes and cappuccinos.
- Prepare Milk: Fill the 350ml milk frothing pitcher with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy) up to the recommended level.
- Activate Steam: Turn the steam knob or press the steam button to activate the steam wand. Allow a short burst of steam to release any condensed water.
- Position Wand: Submerge the tip of the steam wand just below the surface of the milk in the pitcher.
- Froth Milk: Angle the pitcher to create a vortex, allowing air to be incorporated into the milk for frothing. Once the desired foam consistency and temperature are reached, turn off the steam.
- Clean Wand: Immediately wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth to remove any milk residue. Briefly activate the steam again to clear any internal blockages.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your espresso machine.
6.1 Daily Cleaning
- Portafilter and Filter Baskets: After each use, remove the portafilter and discard the coffee grounds. Rinse the portafilter and filter basket under hot water. Use a brush to remove any stubborn coffee residue.
- Brew Head: Wipe the brew head with a damp cloth to remove any coffee grounds. Run a short brewing cycle without coffee to flush the screen.
- Steam Wand: As mentioned in the operation section, wipe the steam wand immediately after frothing milk and purge it briefly.
- Drip Tray: Empty and rinse the drip tray daily or when the indicator shows it is full.
- Water Tank: Rinse the water tank daily and refill with fresh water.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the machine in water.
6.2 Descaling
Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) can build up inside the machine, affecting performance and taste. Descaling should be performed regularly, depending on your water hardness and frequency of use (e.g., every 2-3 months).
- Prepare Descaling Solution: Follow the instructions on a commercial descaling solution specifically designed for espresso machines. Alternatively, a solution of white vinegar and water (1:1 ratio) can be used.
- Fill Water Tank: Pour the descaling solution into the water tank.
- Run Descaling Cycle: Place a large container under the brew head and steam wand. Run several brewing cycles and activate the steam wand periodically to allow the solution to flow through all internal components.
- Rinse Thoroughly: After the descaling solution has been used, rinse the water tank and refill it with fresh water. Run several full tanks of fresh water through the machine (both brew head and steam wand) to ensure all descaling solution is flushed out.
7. Troubleshooting Guide
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your espresso machine. If the problem persists, please contact customer support.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No water flow from brew head | Water tank empty or not properly seated; machine needs descaling; pump issue. | Refill/reseat water tank; perform descaling; contact support. |
| Espresso extracts too slowly or not at all | Coffee grounds too fine; coffee tamped too hard; brew head clogged. | Use coarser grind; tamp with less pressure; clean brew head. |
| Espresso extracts too quickly, weak coffee | Coffee grounds too coarse; not enough coffee; coffee tamped too lightly. | Use finer grind; increase coffee dose; tamp with more pressure. |
| No steam or weak steam from wand | Steam wand clogged with milk residue; machine not heated to steam temperature; machine needs descaling. | Clean steam wand thoroughly; wait for machine to heat up; perform descaling. |
| Machine leaks water | Water tank not properly seated; drip tray full; seal issue. | Reseat water tank; empty drip tray; contact support. |

9. User Tips
No specific user tips were available from reviews or Q&A for this product at this time. However, general tips for espresso machines include:
- Fresh Beans: Always use freshly roasted and freshly ground coffee beans for the best flavor.
- Grind Size: Experiment with grind size to achieve optimal extraction. Too fine can lead to over-extraction and bitterness, too coarse to under-extraction and sourness.
- Tamping Consistency: Aim for consistent tamping pressure each time to ensure even water flow through the coffee puck.
- Milk Temperature: For frothing, use cold milk directly from the refrigerator for best results.
- Regular Cleaning: Daily cleaning of the portafilter and steam wand is crucial to prevent blockages and maintain hygiene.
