Front Panel Ports:

• Power Button: To turn the docking station on/off.
• USB-C Upstream Port (HOST): Connects to your laptop for data, video, and up to 100W power delivery.
• TF 3.0 Card Reader: Supports up to 170MB/s data transfer.
• 2x USB-C 3.2 Gen2 Ports: 10Gbps data transfer speed (data only, no charging or display).
• SD 3.0 Card Reader: Supports up to 170MB/s data transfer.
• 3.5mm Audio Jack: For headset and microphone (4-PIN interface, supports line control, independent sound card).
• USB-A 3.2 Gen2 Port: 10Gbps data transfer speed.

Setup Instructions

1. Power Connection: Connect the included 140W power adapter to the DC-IN port on the rear of the docking station, then plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
2. Connect to Laptop: Use the provided USB-C to USB-C cable to connect the docking station's USB-C Upstream (HOST) port to a full-featured USB-C port on your laptop.
3. Monitor Connection: Connect your external monitors to the HDMI and/or DisplayPort outputs on the rear of the docking station using appropriate cables.
4. Peripherals and Storage: Connect your USB devices (keyboard, mouse, external hard drives, etc.) to the available USB-A and USB-C data ports. Insert SD/TF cards into the respective slots if needed.
5. Network Connection: For a stable wired network, connect an Ethernet cable from your router/modem to the RJ45 port on the docking station.
6. Audio Devices: Plug your headphones or speakers into the 3.5mm audio jack.

Placement Options:

The docking station can be placed horizontally (with side rubber feet) or vertically (with bottom rubber feet) to suit your desk setup and optimize space.

Operating Instructions

Multi-Display Modes:

The docking station supports triple display output for Windows laptops and mirrored display for macOS laptops when connecting multiple external monitors.

For Windows: Supports extended mode across multiple external displays, allowing for a highly efficient workspace.

For macOS: When connecting multiple external monitors, the displays on all external monitors will show identical content (mirror mode). The dock is not recommended for MacBook users who wish to connect multiple monitors with different displays.

Charging Functionality:

The docking station provides power delivery to your laptop and mobile devices:

• Laptop Charging: Up to 100W via the USB-C Upstream port to your connected laptop.
• Mobile Device Charging: Up to 27W via the dedicated USB-C PD port for smartphones or other compatible devices.

Note: The 100W upstream USB-C port and 27W USB-C output share a combined power of 100W. When both are in use, the maximum output power per port may be less than the individual rated maximum. Data based on internal lab testing.

• Compatible Systems: Windows 10/11, macOS 11.4 and above.
• Compatible PC Devices: Laptops with a full-featured USB-C port (e.g., Thunderbolt 3/4/5, USB-C with Power Delivery and DisplayPort Alt Mode). This includes models like ThinkPad, Dell XPS, HP EliteBook, Surface devices, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Mac Mini, Acer, iPad Pro.

1. For full functionality, ensure your laptop's USB-C port supports both Power Delivery and DisplayPort 1.2/1.4 Alt Mode, in addition to either USB4, Thunderbolt 5/4/3.
2. If you are using a MacBook and want to connect dual monitors with different displays, we do not recommend this docking station. For macOS, the displays on both external monitors will be identical.

Troubleshooting

• No Display Output:
  • Ensure your laptop's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode.
  • Check all cable connections between the docking station, laptop, and monitors.
  • Verify that your monitors are set to the correct input source (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, or DP).
  • Try connecting one monitor at a time to isolate the issue.
  • Restart your laptop and the docking station.
• Charging Issues:
  • Confirm the 140W power adapter is securely connected to the DC-IN port and a working power outlet.
  • Ensure your laptop supports USB-C Power Delivery for charging via the upstream port.
  • Note the combined power output limit (100W total) if charging multiple devices simultaneously.
• Slow Data Transfer Speeds:
  • Ensure you are using the 10Gbps USB-A 3.2 Gen2 or USB-C 3.2 Gen2 ports for high-speed devices.
  • Check that your connected device (e.g., external SSD) also supports USB 3.2 Gen2 speeds.
• Ethernet Connection Problems:
  • Verify the Ethernet cable is properly connected to both the docking station and your router/modem.
  • Check your laptop's network settings to ensure the wired connection is recognized and enabled.
  • Restart your router/modem and the docking station.
• macOS Multi-Display Behavior:
  • Remember that macOS will mirror content across multiple external displays when connected to this docking station. This is a system limitation, not a defect of the product.
