Always perform a pre-ride safety check, including brakes, tire pressure, and battery charge. Ensure all components are securely fastened before each ride.
2. Assembly Instructions
The Cybervelo EK7 E-Bike is 90% pre-assembled. Please follow these steps to complete the assembly:
2.1 Unboxing and Part Identification
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Lay them out to ensure all parts are present.
2.2 Handlebar Installation
- Use a 5mm hex wrench to loosen the stem top screw.
- Use a 6mm hex wrench to loosen the stem side screw.
- Remove the stem and stem screw sets from the fork.
- Insert the fork into the frame.
- Place the headset components (silver ring, black cap, spacers) onto the fork tube in the correct order.
- Ensure the riser screws on the stem face upwards.
- Place the stem onto the fork tube.
- Insert the stem top screw (5mm) and tighten it.
- Tighten the stem side screws (6mm).
- Attach the handlebar to the stem, ensuring the rubber pad is correctly positioned. Tighten the handlebar screws.
2.3 Kickstand Installation
- Attach the kickstand to the frame.
- Align the hole on the kickstand with the hole on the frame and secure it with the provided screw.
2.4 Front Wheel Installation
- Ensure the brake disc is on the left side of the bike, matching the rear brake disc.
- Insert the front wheel into the fork dropouts.
- Take out the front wheel quick release.
- Insert part 1 of the quick release from the left side of the front wheel.
- Assemble parts 2 (spring) and 3 (nut) onto the quick release.
- Tighten the quick release to secure the front wheel firmly, avoiding any looseness.
2.5 Front Fender and Light Installation
- Attach the front light to the front fork using a 5mm hex wrench.
- Attach the front fender to the front fork.
- Tighten the screw, ensuring enough gap between the fender and the tire.
- The installation sequence is: 1. front light, 2. front fender, 3. front fork.
- Connect the front light cable. Align the arrows on both sides of the cable and push firmly until connected.
- Put the brake cable into the hole of the front fork.
2.6 Brake Adjustment
- Use a 5mm hex wrench to adjust the front brake caliper.
- Ensure the brake pads are properly aligned with the rotor and provide effective braking.
2.7 Pedal Installation
- Identify the 'R' (Right) and 'L' (Left) pedals.
- Attach the 'R' pedal to the right crank arm (clockwise to tighten) using a 15mm wrench.
- Attach the 'L' pedal to the left crank arm (counter-clockwise to tighten) using a 15mm wrench.
2.8 Rear Rack Installation
- Put up the rear rack.
- Align the hole on the frame, the hole on the fender kickstand, and the hole on the rear rack.
- Secure with screws using a 4mm hex wrench (from multi-tool).
2.9 Rear Light Installation
- Attach the rear light to the rear rack.
- Secure with screws using a 10mm wrench.
2.10 Seat Post Installation
- Attach the seat to the seat post using a 13mm wrench.
- Open the clip on the frame and insert the seat post.
- Adjust the seat to a proper height and fasten the clip.
2.11 Battery Insertion/Removal
- Use the key to unlock the battery.
- Push the battery safety lock and remove the battery.
- To insert, align the battery and push it into the frame until it clicks securely. Lock with the key.

3. Operating Your E-Bike
3.1 Riding Modes
Your Cybervelo EK7 E-Bike offers three distinct riding modes:
- Pure Electric Mode: Engage the throttle for motor-only propulsion.
- Pedal Assist Mode (PAS): The motor provides assistance as you pedal. There are 5 Pedal Assist Levels to choose from, allowing you to adjust the motor's power output.
- Classic Bike Mode: Ride the E-Bike like a traditional bicycle, without any motor assistance.
3.2 Intelligent LCD Display
The LCD display serves as your control panel and information hub. It provides real-time data about your ride and allows you to adjust settings:

4.1 Battery Care
- The 48V 25Ah lithium-ion battery is removable for convenient charging.
- It can also be charged directly on the bike.
- The battery is IP54 waterproof, offering longer service life.
- Always use the original charger provided with your E-Bike.
- Avoid fully discharging the battery regularly. Charge it after each ride or when the charge level is low.
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
4.2 Brake System
- The E-Bike is equipped with front and rear mechanical disc brakes.
- Regularly check brake pads for wear and replace them when necessary.
- Ensure brake levers are responsive and provide adequate stopping power. Adjust cable tension if needed.
4.3 Tires
- The 26-inch tires are puncture-resistant.
- Maintain proper tire pressure as indicated on the tire sidewall for optimal performance and safety.
- Inspect tires regularly for wear, cuts, or embedded objects.
4.4 General Maintenance
- Keep your E-Bike clean, especially after riding in wet or muddy conditions.
- Lubricate the chain regularly to ensure smooth gear changes and prevent rust.
