8. Troubleshooting

  • Device not powering on: Check all power connections. Ensure the vehicle's battery is charged and the tracker's power switch is in the 'Ligar' (On) position.
  • No GPS signal: Ensure the device is installed in a location with a clear view of the sky. Move the vehicle to an open area if necessary.
  • No network connection: Verify that the SIM card is correctly inserted, active, and has a sufficient data plan. Check the network indicator light on the device.
  • Cannot log in to platform: Double-check the User ID (device ID) and password. If using the default password, remember to change it after the first successful login. Ensure the correct server ('Tracker King') is selected.
  • Inaccurate location: This could be due to weak GPS signal, especially in urban canyons or underground parking. LBS (Location Based Service) will provide approximate location when GPS is unavailable.
  • Remote functions not working: Ensure the device has a stable network connection and the wiring for the specific function (e.g., OIL for relay) is correct.

9. User Tips

  • Change Default Password: For security, always change the default password (123456) immediately after your first login to the tracking platform.
  • Regularly Check SIM Card Balance: Ensure your SIM card has enough credit or data to maintain continuous tracking and alarm functionality.
  • Discreet Installation: For anti-theft purposes, install the tracker in a hidden location that is not easily accessible or visible.
  • Test Alarms: After installation, test the vibration, geo-fence, and overspeed alarms to ensure they are configured correctly and sending notifications.
  • Review History: Utilize the history route playback feature to monitor vehicle usage and routes, especially if multiple drivers use the vehicle.
