5. Setup Guide

- Charge the Camera: Connect the camera to a 5V/1A power adapter using the provided USB Type-C data cable. Ensure the camera is fully charged before initial use. The charging port is labeled in Figure 3 and Figure 4.
- Insert SD Card (Optional): If you wish to record footage locally, insert a compatible TF (microSD) card into the SD card slot (labeled in Figure 3 and Figure 4). The memory card is not included.
- Power On: Locate the On/Off button (labeled in Figure 3 and Figure 4) and press it to power on the camera.
- Download the App: Download and install the 'iWFCam' app on your smartphone from your device's app store.
- Connect to WiFi:
- Open the iWFCam app and follow the on-screen instructions to add your new camera.
- The app will guide you through connecting the camera to your home's 2.4GHz WiFi network. Ensure your phone is connected to the same WiFi network during setup.
- If connection issues occur, try resetting the camera by pressing the Reset button (labeled in Figure 4) with a pin for a few seconds.
- Mount the Camera:
- Attach the camera to the bottom fixed bracket.
- Choose a suitable location for surveillance. The bracket allows for flexible rotation (360° horizontally, 180° vertically) and can be hoisted or wall-mounted (see Figure 5).
- Adjust the camera angle as needed for optimal viewing coverage.

6. Operating Instructions
- Remote Viewing: Open the iWFCam app on your smartphone to view live footage from your camera anytime, anywhere.
- Night Vision: The camera features infrared night vision. This mode can be set to manual or timing via the app to activate automatically in low-light conditions.
- Motion Detection: Configure motion detection settings within the iWFCam app. You can set sensitivity levels and enable alarm notifications to receive alerts on your phone when motion is detected.
- Two-Way Audio: Use the voice intercom feature in the app to speak through the camera's speaker and listen through its microphone.
- Power Saving Mode: Activate power-saving mode in the app settings to optimize battery life.
- Indicator Light Control: For discreet monitoring, you can choose to close the camera's indicator light through the app settings.
- Recording & Playback: If an SD card is inserted, the camera will record footage. You can access recorded videos and playback through the iWFCam app.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the camera lens and body with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Battery Care: Recharge the camera regularly, especially if it's used wirelessly. Avoid completely draining the battery frequently to prolong its lifespan.
- Software Updates: Check the iWFCam app periodically for any available firmware updates for your camera to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Environmental Conditions: Operate the camera within the specified temperature and humidity ranges (-10 ℃ ~ 50 ℃, humidity < 95% non-condensed) to prevent damage.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the camera in a cool, dry place.
8. Troubleshooting
- Camera not connecting to WiFi:
- Ensure your WiFi network is 2.4GHz. The camera does not support 5GHz networks.
- Check if the WiFi password entered in the app is correct.
- Move the camera closer to the WiFi router.
- Reset the camera using the reset button and try the connection process again.
- Poor video quality:
- Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from dust or smudges.
- Check your internet connection speed. A stable and fast connection is required for optimal streaming.
- Ensure adequate lighting in the surveillance area during the day.
- Motion detection not working:
- Verify that motion detection is enabled in the iWFCam app settings.
- Adjust the motion detection sensitivity.
- Ensure there are no obstructions blocking the camera's view.
- Short battery life:
- Ensure power-saving mode is enabled in the app.
- Frequent live viewing, continuous recording, or high motion detection activity will consume more battery.
- Ensure the camera is fully charged using a 5V/1A adapter.
- Camera overheating:
- The camera is designed for stable operation and should not easily overheat. If it feels excessively hot, disconnect power and contact support.
- Ensure it's placed in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
