4. Setup

4.1 Unfolding the Drone

  1. Carefully remove the drone from its packaging.
  2. Unfold the drone arms until they click into place. Ensure all arms are fully extended and locked.

4.2 Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Insert the 3.7V 2500mAh rechargeable lithium battery into the drone's battery compartment. Ensure it is securely seated.
  2. Connect the USB charging cable to the battery and a suitable USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter).
  3. Allow approximately 60 minutes for a full charge. The indicator light on the charger will change to indicate charging status.

4.3 Remote Control Setup

  1. Ensure the remote control is charged or has fresh batteries.
  2. If your remote control uses a mobile phone holder, attach your smartphone securely.
  3. Power on the remote control.

4.4 Propeller Installation (if necessary)

  1. Identify the correct propellers for each motor (usually marked A and B, or with specific shapes).
  2. Attach the propellers firmly to the corresponding motor shafts using the provided screwdriver. Ensure they are not loose.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Remote Control Guide

Familiarize yourself with the remote control buttons and their functions:

  • Lens Adjustment: Adjust the camera angle.
  • Speed Switching: Toggle between different flight speeds.
  • Obstacle Avoidance: Activate/deactivate intelligent obstacle avoidance.
  • One Click Back: Initiates the drone's return to home function.
  • Headless Mode: Engages headless flight mode.
  • Throttle: Controls altitude.
  • Take off/Land: One-click takeoff and landing.
  • Direction Lever: Controls horizontal movement.
  • Reset: Resets drone settings.
  • LCD Screen: Displays flight information.
  • Power Switch: Turns the remote control on/off.
  • Return: Initiates GPS precise and intelligent return.
  • Take Pictures: Captures still images.

5.2 First Flight Preparation

  1. Place the drone on a flat, open surface, away from obstacles.
  2. Power on the drone, then power on the remote control.
  3. Wait for the drone and remote control to pair. The indicator lights will stabilize.
  4. Calibrate the drone as per the APP instructions (if required).

5.3 Basic Flight Operations

  • One-Click Takeoff: Press the 'Take off/Land' button to automatically lift off.
  • Altitude Control: Use the throttle stick to ascend or descend.
  • Direction Control: Use the direction lever to move forward, backward, left, or right.
  • One-Click Landing: Press the 'Take off/Land' button again to automatically land.

6. Flight Modes

6.1 Intelligent Obstacle Avoidance

The drone is equipped with an intelligent obstacle avoidance system that automatically detects and avoids surrounding obstacles, providing a safer flight experience. Activate this function in areas with many obstacles to prevent collisions.

6.2 Optical Flow Hovering

The optical flow hovering system allows the drone to maintain a stable altitude and position, freeing your hands during flight. This is particularly useful for steady aerial photography.

6.3 Headless Mode

In headless mode, the drone's orientation is relative to the pilot, making it easier for beginners to control without worrying about the drone's front or back direction.

6.4 Trajectory Flight

Draw a desired flight path on the mobile APP, and the drone will automatically fly along the marked trajectory, allowing for hands-free control and precise flight routes.

6.5 Intelligent Following Mode

8. Maintenance

8.1 Cleaning

  • Regularly clean the drone body, propellers, and camera lens with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals or solvents that could damage the drone's components.

8.2 Battery Care

  • Store batteries in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Do not overcharge or over-discharge the battery.
  • If not using the drone for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50-60% for storage.

8.3 Propeller Inspection

  • Before each flight, inspect propellers for any cracks, bends, or damage.
  • Replace damaged propellers immediately to ensure safe and stable flight.

9. Troubleshooting

  • Drone not responding: Ensure both drone and remote control are powered on and properly paired. Check battery levels.
  • Unstable flight: Perform a calibration of the drone. Inspect propellers for damage and replace if necessary. Ensure flight is in an open area away from strong winds.
  • No image transmission: Check the connection between the remote control/mobile device and the drone. Ensure the APP is running correctly.
  • Short flight time: Ensure the battery is fully charged. Battery performance may degrade over time; consider replacing if significantly reduced.
  • Obstacle avoidance not working: Ensure the obstacle avoidance feature is enabled. Clean sensors if they appear obstructed.

10. User Tips

  • Practice in open areas: For beginners, start flying in a large, open space free of obstacles to get accustomed to the controls.
  • Monitor battery life: Always keep an eye on the drone's battery indicator and plan your flights to ensure enough power for a safe return.
  • Check weather conditions: Avoid flying in strong winds, rain, or other adverse weather conditions to prevent damage or loss of control.
  • Read the APP manual: The companion APP offers advanced features and settings; refer to its manual for full functionality.
