Setup Guide
1. App Installation
Download the "V380 Pro" app from your mobile device's app store (available for iOS and Android).
2. Powering On and Initial Setup
- Ensure the camera's battery is charged. You can charge it via the provided charging cable or by connecting the solar panel.
- Turn on the camera using the ON/OFF switch.
- Follow the in-app instructions to add your camera. This typically involves scanning a QR code on the camera or connecting to its temporary WiFi hotspot.
3. Network Connection
For WiFi Camera Version:
- The camera supports 2.4GHz WiFi networks (5GHz WiFi is not supported).
- During app setup, select the WiFi connection option and enter your network credentials.
For 4G Camera Version:
- Insert a 4G data SIM card into the designated slot on the camera.
- Ensure the SIM card is active and has a data plan.
- The 4G version does not support WiFi connection.
- Note: The 4G version supports LTE frequency bands B1/B3/B7/B8/B20/B28. It is NOT compatible with networks in Japan, USA, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, and other American countries.
4. SD Card Installation (Optional)
The camera supports TF (Micro SD) cards up to 128GB for local video storage. Insert the TF card into the TF card slot as shown in the product details diagram.
5. Physical Installation
- Choose a suitable outdoor location for the camera, ensuring it has a clear view of the area you wish to monitor and receives ample sunlight for the solar panel.
- Mount the camera securely using the provided bracket and screw accessories.
- Mount the solar panel in a location that receives direct sunlight throughout the day. Connect the solar panel to the camera using the 1.8m extension cord.
Operation
1. Remote Control (Pan/Tilt/Zoom)
Use the V380 Pro app to remotely control the camera's movement and zoom:
- Main PTZ Camera: Pan horizontally from 0° to 355° and tilt vertically from 0° to 100°.
- Left and Right PTZ Cameras: Each supports 270° pan rotation and 90° tilt adjustment.
- 10X Optical Zoom: Adjust the zoom level through the app to view distant objects in detail.
2. Recording Modes
The camera offers three working modes, accessible via the app settings:
- Low-power mode: PIR detection alarm, low power consumption for stable battery life. The device sleeps and triggers alarm recording only when someone passes by.
- Adaptive power mode: Smartly switches recording modes, balancing continuous recording and battery life. The device continues recording when the battery is sufficient.
- Battery saving mode: Always sleep. Only remote wake-up. Ultimate battery life. Recording is OFF, and the device can only be awakened when viewing remotely through the app.
3. Humanoid Detection & Alarms
The camera features PIR + AI humanoid detection. When a person enters the monitoring area, the mobile app will display alarm information prompts and can trigger a sound alarm. You can set arbitrary arming times and customize alarm sounds.
4. Automatic Tracking
Only the middle lens supports automatic tracking. When a human moves in front of the camera, it will pan or tilt to follow the movement, ensuring continuous surveillance.
5. Preset Point Settings
All three cameras support the preset position function. You can set specific points in advance through the app to quickly view important areas with precise positioning.
6. Activity Alarm Area
You can define and set specific activity alarm areas through the mobile app. The camera will only trigger alarms when motion is detected within these defined zones.
7. Two-Way Audio Communication
The camera is equipped with a built-in microphone and speaker, enabling two-way voice intercom. You can communicate with visitors or deter intruders directly through the app.
8. Night Vision
The camera supports two night vision modes:
- Infrared Night Vision: Provides clear black and white images in low-light conditions.
- Full Color Night Vision: In white light mode, when the camera detects a moving object, it automatically turns on the white light and starts recording in full color.
9. Device Sharing
After setting up the camera in the main account, it can be shared with multiple family members. Others can scan or import the QR code from the "Add Device" page in the app to add the device.
Maintenance
- Solar Panel: Regularly clean the surface of the solar panel to ensure maximum sunlight absorption and efficient charging.
- Camera Lens: Keep the camera lenses clean and free from dust or obstructions for optimal image clarity.
- Waterproof Rating: The camera is IP66 waterproof, meaning it is protected against dust and powerful water jets. However, avoid submerging the camera in water.
- Battery: The built-in 8000mAh batteries are designed for long-term use. In adaptive power mode, the camera intelligently manages power to extend battery life.
