Setup Instructions
1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection
Carefully remove the printer and all accessories from the packaging. Check for any visible damage or missing components. Keep the packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Loading Label Stock
- Press the open button down to open the lid of the printer.
- Place the label stock roll into the paper bin. Ensure the print side of the label paper is facing down.
- Drag a section of the label paper to the paper outlet.
- Press down to close the paper cover securely.

3. Powering On/Off
Press and hold the power button for three seconds to turn the machine on or off. A green indicator light will illuminate when the printer is on.
4. App Installation
Download the 'Marklife' app from your device's app store (Google Play for Android or Apple App Store for iOS). Search for 'Marklife' and install the application.
5. Bluetooth Connection
- Open the Marklife app on your smartphone or tablet.
- In the app, click on the 'UNLINK' or 'Not connected' icon (often represented by a printer icon with a red 'X' or similar).
- Allow Bluetooth to be turned on if prompted by the app.
- The app will search for nearby printable devices. Select your P15 printer from the list (e.g., 'P15_XXXX_BLE') and click 'Connect'.
- Once successfully connected, the printer icon in the app should turn green, indicating a successful connection.

Operating Instructions
1. Creating and Editing Labels
- From the Marklife app home screen, click 'Create label'.
- On the 'Select Paper Type' screen, click 'Quick size selection' and choose the size that matches your loaded label stock (e.g., 40*12mm). Click 'OK'.
- Double-click the default 'Edit' text box to open the keyboard. Enter the text you wish to print.
- Use the 'Text layout' options to adjust font size (swipe left/right on the font slider), spacing between characters, and line spacing.
- You can bold, underline, or italicize text using the respective buttons.
- To print vertical text, click the 'A' icon with a vertical arrow.
- Explore 'Font Options' to change the style of the font.
- To move the text box, click 'Text' and then drag the text on the label preview.
- To change the size of the label stock in the preview, pinch the screen. To increase the length of the edit box, click and move the double-headed arrow.
- The app also offers options to add pictures, stickers, dates, Excel data, codes (1D/QR), graffiti, lines, and shapes.

2. Printing a Test Label
After loading the label paper and powering on the device, press the power button twice quickly to print a test label. This helps confirm that the paper is loaded correctly and the printer is functioning.
3. Tearing Off Labels
Once a label is printed, it can be torn off up and right when it is close to the paper outlet, using the serrated edge.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Print Head
To ensure optimal print quality, regularly clean the thermal print head. Use a soft, lint-free cloth lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Gently wipe the print head from the center outwards. Ensure the printer is off and cool before cleaning.
2. Battery Care
The P15 printer has a 1200mAh rechargeable battery. To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the printer using the provided Type-C cable. Store the printer in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.

3. Storage

Troubleshooting
1. Printer Not Turning On
- Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the printer to a power source using the Type-C cable.
- Press and hold the power button for at least 3 seconds.
2. Unable to Connect via Bluetooth
- Make sure the printer is turned on and within range of your device.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone/tablet.
- Restart both the printer and your device.
- Forget the device in your phone's Bluetooth settings and try pairing again through the Marklife app.

4. Paper Jams
