1. Introduction

2. Safety Instructions

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury.

  • Do not use the vacuum cleaner outdoors or on wet surfaces.
  • Do not allow it to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
  • Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended attachments.
  • Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center.
  • Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
  • Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
  • Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
  • Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce airflow.
  • Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
  • Turn off all controls before unplugging.
  • Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
  • Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
  • Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
  • Do not use without dust cup and/or filters in place.
  • Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to battery pack, picking up or carrying the appliance.
  • Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer.
  • Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help.

4. Setup

4.1 Assembly

  1. Attach the Extension Wand: Insert the extension wand into the main unit until it clicks securely into place.
  2. Attach the Floor Brush: Insert the motorized floor brush onto the other end of the extension wand until it clicks. For handheld use, attach desired nozzle directly to the main unit.
  3. Install Battery: Ensure the detachable battery is correctly inserted into the main unit.

4.2 Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the battery. The battery can be charged while attached to the main unit or separately.

  • Connect the power adapter to the charging port on the battery or main unit.
  • Plug the adapter into a power outlet.
  • The LCD display will indicate charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 4-5 hours.

4.3 Wall Mount Installation

The included wall mount allows for convenient storage and charging.

  1. Choose a suitable location near a power outlet.
  2. Mark the drilling points for the wall mount.
  3. Drill holes and insert wall plugs (if necessary).
  4. Secure the wall mount to the wall using screws.
  5. Hang the vacuum cleaner on the mount.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

Press the power button on the main unit to turn the vacuum cleaner on or off.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your vacuum cleaner.

6.1 Emptying the Dust Cup

The dust cup has a capacity of approximately 1.5 liters. Empty it regularly, especially when it reaches the MAX fill line, to maintain strong suction.

  1. Hold the main unit over a trash bin.
  2. Press the dust cup release button to open the bottom flap and empty the contents.
  3. Close the flap securely.

6.2 Cleaning the Filter System

The Laresar Elite 8 features a 7-stage filtration system with a HEPA filter. Clean filters regularly to prevent clogging and maintain suction power.

  1. Twist and remove the dust cup from the main unit.
  2. Remove the pre-filter and HEPA filter.
  3. Tap off loose dirt from the filters. For a deeper clean, rinse the filters under cold running water.
  4. Ensure filters are completely dry (at least 24 hours) before reassembling. Do not use the vacuum with wet filters.

6.3 Cleaning the Brush Roll

Periodically check the brush roll in the motorized floor brush for tangled hair or debris.

  1. Turn off and unplug the vacuum.
  2. Use a coin or screwdriver to unlock the brush roll cover.
  3. Remove the brush roll and cut away any tangled hair or fibers using scissors.
  4. Reinsert the brush roll and secure the cover.

6.4 Battery Care

  • Always use the original charger.
  • Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures.
  • If storing the vacuum for an extended period, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) and store in a cool, dry place.
