System Connection Diagram

Figure 3.1: Hybrid Power System Overview
This diagram illustrates a typical hybrid power system setup, integrating solar panels, a generator or utility grid, a 24V battery (lithium or lead-acid), the ECGSOLAX inverter, and various home appliances.
Battery Connection
The inverter requires a 24V battery system. Ensure correct polarity when connecting batteries.

Figure 3.2: Battery Wiring Diagram
NOTE: Please only use sealed lead acid battery or sealed GEL/AGM lead-acid battery for optimal performance and safety.
For a 24V system, connect two 12V batteries in series as shown in the diagram.
PV Panel Configuration (PWM L 3K)
The inverter is equipped with a PWM solar charge controller. Adhere to the following PV panel configuration for optimal charging:

Figure 3.3: Recommended PV Panel Configuration
- Maximum PV Panel Power: 1200 W
- Recommended Panel Setup: 6 pieces of 200W panels.
- Connection: 1 panel in series, 6 panels in parallel.
- Maximum Power Voltage (Vmpp): 30.9V (resulting in approximately 30-32VDC for the array).
- Maximum Power Current (Impp): 8.42A per module. Total PV module current in parallel should not exceed the maximum solar charging current of 50A.
- Open Circuit Voltage (Voc): 37.7V.
- Short Circuit Current (Isc): 8.89A.
WARNING: Do not exceed the maximum PV array open circuit voltage of 80VDC.
4. Operation
The inverter's operation is managed through its LCD display and function buttons.

Refer to the detailed menu structure in the full manual (if available) for step-by-step instructions on configuring these settings.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your ECGSOLAX Hybrid Solar Inverter.
- Cleanliness: Keep the inverter's ventilation openings clear of dust and debris to prevent overheating. Use a dry cloth for cleaning.
- Connections: Periodically check all electrical connections (battery, PV, AC input/output) for tightness and signs of corrosion. Ensure they are secure.
- Battery Health: Monitor battery voltage and performance. Ensure the battery type is compatible (sealed lead acid or sealed GEL/AGM lead-acid battery).
- Environment: Ensure the inverter is installed in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, moisture, and flammable materials.
WARNING: Before performing any maintenance, ensure the inverter is turned off and disconnected from all power sources (PV, AC, and battery).
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your inverter, refer to the fault indicator and the following general troubleshooting steps.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Inverter not turning on | No battery connection or low battery voltage; Power switch off; Circuit breaker tripped. | Check battery connections and voltage; Ensure power switch is ON; Reset circuit breaker. |
| No AC output | Overload; Short circuit; Over temperature; Battery low. | Reduce load; Check for short circuits in wiring; Allow inverter to cool down; Charge battery. |
| Battery not charging | PV input too low or disconnected; AC input disconnected; Charging current setting too low. | Check PV connections and sunlight; Verify AC input; Adjust charging current via LCD settings. |
| Fault indicator illuminated | Internal fault; Overload; Short circuit; Over temperature. | Note the error code on the LCD (if any); Refer to specific error codes in the full manual; Perform general troubleshooting for overload/short circuit/over temperature. |
If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, please contact customer support.
