Setup Instructions
- Power Connection: Connect the provided power adapter to the mixer's Power Jack (21) and then to a suitable AC power outlet (AC 100V-240V).
- Power On: Flip the Power Switch (20) to the 'ON' position. The power indicator will illuminate.
- Input Connections:
- Microphones: Connect XLR microphones to the Microphone Inputs (1).
- Line-level Devices: Connect instruments (e.g., keyboards, guitars with preamps) or other audio sources to the Line Inputs (2) using 1/4" TRS cables.
- Phantom Power: If using condenser microphones, activate the 48V Phantom Power Switch (14). Ensure dynamic microphones are not connected when phantom power is active to prevent damage.
- Output Connections:
- Main Output: Connect the Main Output Jacks (13) to your amplifier, powered speakers, or recording interface.
- Headphones: Connect your headphones to the Monitor Jack (12) for personal monitoring.
- USB/Bluetooth Setup:
- USB Playback: Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the USB Module (11). The mixer will automatically detect and display the files.
- Bluetooth Connection: Activate Bluetooth on your smart device (e.g., smartphone, tablet). Search for the device named "USB-F7" and pair with it. Audio from your device will now stream wirelessly to the mixer.
Operating Instructions
- Setting Input Gain: For each active channel, speak or play into the microphone/instrument at its loudest expected level. Adjust the Gain Adjustment knob (3) until the 'PEAK' indicator (located below the channel fader) flashes only occasionally. This ensures a strong signal without distortion.
- Adjusting Channel Volume: Use the Channel Adjustment Faders (9) to set the individual volume level for each input.
- Equalization (EQ): Use the Treble (5), Midrange (6), and Bass (7) Adjustment knobs to shape the tone of each channel. Turn clockwise to boost frequencies, counter-clockwise to cut.
- Panning: Use the Pan Adjustment knob (4) to position the sound of each channel in the stereo image, from left to right.
- Applying Effects (DSP):
- Use the Reverb Effect Adjustment knob (10) on each channel to send signal to the internal DSP effects processor.
- The USB Module (11) typically has controls to select from the 16 built-in DSP effects. Refer to the digital display for effect selection.
- Adjust the master Effect Adjustment (FX Send) knob (19) to control the overall level of the effects return.
- Auxiliary Send (AUX): Use the Auxiliary Output Adjustment knob (8) on each channel to send signal to an external monitor mix or effect unit. The master Auxiliary Volume Adjustment (AUX Send) knob (17) controls the overall send level.
- Main Output Volume: Use the Main Signal Output Fader (18) to control the overall volume of the mixed audio sent to your main speakers or recording device.
- Monitoring: Adjust the Monitor Volume Adjustment knob (16) to set the listening level for your headphones.
- USB MP3 Player Operation: Use the buttons next to the digital display on the USB Module (11) to play/pause, skip tracks, and navigate folders on your USB flash drive.
- Bluetooth Operation: Once paired, audio from your Bluetooth device will play through the mixer. Use your device's volume controls and the mixer's channel/main faders to adjust the level.

Troubleshooting
- No Sound Output:
- Ensure the mixer is powered on and connected correctly to a power source.
- Verify all input and output cables are securely connected.
- Check that channel faders (9) and the Main Signal Output Fader (18) are raised.
- Confirm that the gain settings (3) for active channels are not too low.
- Ensure your connected speakers/amplifier are powered on and functioning.
- Distorted Sound:
- Reduce the Gain Adjustment (3) for the input channels that are distorting.
- Lower the Main Signal Output Fader (18) if the overall mix is distorting.
- Check for impedance mismatches between the mixer and connected equipment.
- Hum or Unwanted Noise:
- Ensure all audio cables are properly shielded and in good condition.
- Try plugging all audio equipment into the same power strip to avoid ground loops.
- Keep audio cables away from power cables to minimize interference.
- 48V Phantom Power Not Activating:
- Confirm the 48V Phantom Power Switch (14) is engaged.
- Verify that your condenser microphone is compatible with 48V phantom power and is connected correctly.
- Bluetooth Connection Issues:
- Ensure the mixer's Bluetooth function is active (check the USB Module display).
- Verify your smart device's Bluetooth is on and actively searching for "USB-F7".
- Move your Bluetooth device closer to the mixer to improve signal strength.
- Try restarting both the mixer and your Bluetooth device.
- USB MP3 Playback Problems:
- Ensure the USB flash drive is formatted correctly (e.g., FAT32) and contains compatible MP3 files.
- Try using a different USB flash drive to rule out drive issues.
User Tips
- Gain Staging: Always set your input gain correctly to avoid clipping, which is indicated by the 'PEAK' light. A good rule of thumb is to set the gain so the PEAK light only flashes on the loudest parts of the signal.
- EQ Experimentation: Don't be afraid to experiment with the 3-band EQ. Small adjustments can significantly improve the clarity and presence of your audio.
- Phantom Power Safety: Only activate 48V phantom power when using condenser microphones. Ensure dynamic microphones are disconnected before engaging phantom power.
- Effect Usage: The 16 DSP effects can add depth and polish to your sound. Start with subtle amounts and increase as needed to avoid over-processing.
