1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

3.3 Audio Input Connections

The MKX16 Pro features 16 input channels: 12 mono and 2 stereo.

  • Mono Channels (1-12): Use XLR or 1/4" TRS/TS jacks for microphones or line-level instruments.
  • Stereo Channels (13/14, 15/16): Use 1/4" TRS/TS jacks for stereo line-level sources.
  • Phantom Power (+48V): Activate the +48V phantom power switch for condenser microphones. Ensure microphones are connected before activating phantom power.
  • Unbalanced Connections: When using an unbalanced connection, connect the line signal conductor to the 'TIP/HOT' terminal and the cable screen to the 'RING/COLD' and 'SIGNAL GROUND' terminals.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Channel Controls Overview

Each input channel features a set of controls for adjusting the audio signal.

  • Gain Control: Adjusts the input sensitivity for microphones or line-level sources.
