1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the STEMTRON Programmable Remote Control Robot Cat. This interactive robotic toy is designed to provide engaging play for children aged 3-12 years, featuring touch sensing, LED eyes, dancing, and programmable actions. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure proper operation and maintenance.

2. Safety Information

  • WARNING: Not suitable for children under 36 months due to small parts.
  • Always supervise children during play.
  • Keep the robot cat away from water and excessive moisture.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the robot cat or its remote control.
  • Use only the specified charging cable and power source.
  • Ensure the robot cat is turned off when not in use or during charging.
  • This product contains a Lithium Battery. Handle with care and dispose of properly.
  • No high-concerned chemicals are present in this product.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Robot Cat

The robot cat is powered by a built-in Lithium Battery. Ensure it is fully charged before first use.

  1. Locate the charging port on the robot cat (refer to Figure 3).
  2. Connect the USB charging cable to the robot cat's charging port and to a suitable USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter).
  3. The LED indicator will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, off when fully charged).
  4. Once fully charged, disconnect the charging cable.

4.2 Remote Control Batteries

The remote control requires batteries, which are included. Ensure they are correctly installed.

  1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Insert the required batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment securely.

4.3 Powering On/Off

  • To turn on the robot cat, locate the power switch (usually on the underside or back) and slide it to the "ON" position.
  • To turn off, slide the switch to the "OFF" position.

5.1 Remote Control Functions

The multi-function remote control allows you to command the robot cat. Refer to Figure 4 for button layout and functions.

5.2 Intelligent Programming Mode

The robot cat features an easy programmable function, allowing children to create their own robotic shows. Up to 30 actions can be programmed.

  1. Press the "Program" (Gear Icon) button on the remote control to start programming.
  2. Input a sequence of desired actions using the remote control buttons (e.g., Forward, Sit down, Push-ups).
  3. Press the "Program" (Gear Icon) button again to stop programming.
  4. The robot cat will now execute the programmed sequence of actions.

5.3 Interactive Touch Sensing

The robot cat responds to touch on its head, making cute moves and interacting with the user.

  • Gently touch the head of the robot cat to activate interactive responses.
  • The robot cat's LED eyes will display emotions, and it may perform various movements or sounds.

5.4 LED Eyes and Emotions

The robot cat's eyes are equipped with LEDs that display various emotions, adding to its interactive personality.

  • Observe the LED eyes for different expressions during play and interaction.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the robot cat with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use water or cleaning agents.
  • Storage: Store the robot cat and remote control in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
  • Battery Care: If the robot cat will not be used for an extended period, ensure it is fully charged before storage. For the remote control, remove batteries if not used for a long time to prevent leakage.
