Setup
Battery Installation
- Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight counter-clockwise.
- Insert the 3 AAA batteries into the included battery holder, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated on the holder.
- Insert the battery holder with batteries into the flashlight body, with the positive end facing towards the head of the flashlight.
- Screw the tail cap back on clockwise until it is securely tightened.
Lanyard Attachment
Attach the included lanyard to the designated loop on the tail cap of the flashlight for secure carrying and to prevent accidental drops.
Operating Instructions
The Nextorch C3 features a single tail-cap switch for easy operation and mode selection.
Power On/Off
- To turn on: Fully press the tail switch until it clicks.
- To turn off: Fully press the tail switch again until it clicks.
Switching Modes
The C3 flashlight offers three lighting modes: High, Medium, and Low.
- With the flashlight turned on, lightly tap the tail switch (without fully clicking) to cycle through the modes: High → Medium → Low.
- The flashlight will remember the last used mode when turned off and on again.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the flashlight body with a clean, soft cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Lubrication: Periodically apply silicone grease to the O-rings and threads to maintain waterproof sealing and smooth operation.
- Battery Care: When the product is kept in a backpack or left unused for a prolonged time, please remove the batteries to prevent accidental activation or battery leakage, which can damage the flashlight.
- Storage: Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
- Flashlight does not turn on:
- Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity.
- Ensure the tail cap is fully tightened. A loose tail cap can prevent electrical contact.
- Replace the batteries with fresh ones.
- Light is dim or flickers:
- Batteries may be low. Replace them with fresh ones.
- Clean the battery contacts and the flashlight's internal contacts with a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol.
- Ensure the tail cap is fully tightened.
- Switch is stiff or unresponsive:
- Clean any dirt or debris around the tail switch.
- Apply a small amount of silicone grease to the O-ring of the tail cap.
