5. Mouse Layout and Buttons

6. Setup and Connection Methods
6.1 Wired Mode
- Move the Connection Mode Switch on the bottom of the mouse to the Wired Mode position.
- Connect the mouse to your computer using the provided USB-C cable. The mouse will power on automatically.
6.2 2.4G Wireless Mode
- Move the Connection Mode Switch on the bottom of the mouse to the 2.4G Wireless Mode position. The wheel and upper cover will display an RGB flowing light mode for 2 seconds, indicating power-on.
- Insert the wireless nano receiver into an available USB port on your computer or into the USB port at the front of the charging dock (if the dock is connected to the computer).
- The mouse should connect automatically. If the connection fails:
- Remove the receiver from the USB port.
- Press and hold the Wheel Click (Middle Button) + Left Button + Right Button simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. The yellow indicator light on the left side of the mouse will flash quickly.
- Re-insert the receiver into the computer's USB port (ensure the distance between the receiver and the mouse is within 20 cm).
- Upon successful connection, the wheel light will return to its normal lighting effect mode.
6.3 Bluetooth Mode
- Move the Connection Mode Switch on the bottom of the mouse to the Bluetooth Mode position.
- Press and hold the Wheel Click (Middle Button) + Left Button + Right Button simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The wheel light will flash blue for 3 minutes.
- On your computer or device, search for Bluetooth devices and select "L8 Pro" to pair.
- Upon successful connection, the wheel light will return to its normal lighting effect mode.
7. Operation
7.1 DPI Adjustment
The DPI indicator light is integrated with the wheel LED. After switching DPI, the wheel light will display the corresponding DPI color lighting effect for 3 seconds (other LED lights will remain in their original state).
- Press the DPI Cycle Button on the bottom of the mouse to cycle through DPI settings.
- DPI Values and Colors:
- 800 DPI (Red)
- 1600 DPI (Green)
- 2400 DPI (Blue - Default)
- 3200 DPI (Yellow)
- 6400 DPI (Pink)

7.2 Polling Rate Settings
- 2.4G Mode: Default polling rate is 2000Hz. It can be adjusted to 125-250-500-1000-2000Hz via the driver software.
- Wired Mode: Default polling rate is 1000Hz. It can be adjusted to 1000-2000-4000-8000Hz via the driver software.
- Bluetooth Mode: Default polling rate is 125Hz and is not adjustable.

7.3 Lighting Mode Control
- To control the lighting mode: Press Wheel Click (Middle Button) + Back Button.
- To adjust the lighting color: Press Wheel Click (Middle Button) + Forward Button.

7.4 Wheel Mode Switching
Press the Scroll Mode Button on the top of the mouse to toggle between the stepped wheel mode (tactile feedback) and the infinite wheel mode (free-spin).

7.5 Charging Dock Usage
- Charging: Align the charging contacts on the bottom of the mouse with the contacts on the charging dock. Place the mouse on the charging dock to initiate charging.
- Wireless Connection (via Dock): Connect the charging dock to your computer via USB. Then, insert the wireless nano receiver into the USB port at the front of the charging dock to establish a 2.4G wireless connection.

7.6 Cursor Movement Power Saving
In 2.4G wireless and Bluetooth modes, when the mouse cursor is moving, only the wheel LED will remain lit. Other LEDs will turn off to conserve power. The lights will resume their full effect when the cursor stops moving.
7.7 Sleep Mode
- If the mouse is not used for 3 minutes in wireless mode, it will enter a low-power sleep mode. It will wake up automatically upon movement.
- After 30 minutes of inactivity, the mouse will enter a deep sleep mode. To wake it up from deep sleep, press any button on the mouse.
8. Charging and Battery Status
8.1 Charging Indication
During charging, the left indicator light on the mouse will remain red. Once fully charged, it will turn green.
8.2 Low Battery Warning
When the mouse's voltage drops below 3.5V, the RGB lighting will switch to a red breathing light effect, and all three blue battery indicator lights will flash to alert you.
8.3 Automatic Shutdown
If the voltage continues to drop below 3.2V, the mouse will automatically shut down to protect the battery.
