3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove the printer from its packaging. The printer is shipped in a wooden case for protection.
- Remove all protective films, tapes, and packing materials from the printer.
- Place the printer on a stable, level surface in a well-ventilated area.

3.2 Software and Driver Installation
- Install the Epson L1800 driver on your computer (compatible with Windows 7/8/XP/10).
- Install the AcroRip 10.3 software using the provided dongle. This software is essential for color management and print job processing.
- Connect the printer to your computer using the provided USB 2.0 cable.
3.3 Ink Filling
The printer uses UV ink. Ensure you use compatible UV inks for optimal performance and longevity of the print head.
- Fill the empty ink bottles with the appropriate UV inks (six colors: C blue, M red, Y yellow, K black, WW white).
- Connect the ink supply lines from the bottles to the corresponding ink ports on the printer.
- The printer features a white ink circulation system to prevent pigment settling. Ensure this system is active.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On and Initial Checks
- Connect the power line to the printer and a suitable power outlet (VAC220/110±10, 50HZ~60HZ).
- Turn on the printer. The smart touch screen will display the printer status.
- Perform a nozzle check to ensure all nozzles are firing correctly.
4.2 Loading Material
The printer supports both flatbed and cylindrical printing.
4.2.1 Flatbed Printing
- Place the flat material (e.g., mobile phone case, acrylic, tile) directly onto the flatbed platform.

- Attach the bottle holder to the printer.
- Place the cylindrical object (e.g., bottle, cup) onto the bottle holder, ensuring it is stable and aligned.
- The printer supports cylindrical objects with a diameter of 50-110mm and a length of up to 320mm.

4.3 Automatic Height Measurement
The printer features infrared automatic height measurement to protect the nozzle from impact and ensure optimal print quality.
- After placing the material, initiate the automatic height measurement function via the control panel or software.
- The printer will automatically adjust the platform height to maintain a 3mm printing distance from the nozzle.

4.4 Printing Process
- Prepare your design using the AcroRip software, ensuring correct color profiles and print settings.
- Send the print job to the printer.
- The printer will begin printing, with the UV lamp curing the ink instantly as it is applied.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Nozzle Maintenance
Regular nozzle maintenance is crucial for print quality and longevity.
- The printer supports automatic cleaning, manual cleaning, and automatic ink extraction.

5.2 UV Lamp Cooling
The UV lamp is critical for curing the ink. Its cooling system ensures stable operation and extends its lifespan.
- The printer uses a triple cooling system: air cooling, heat sink, and circulating water cooling.
- Ensure proper airflow around the printer and regularly check the water cooling system for adequate levels and circulation.
- The UV lamp operates stably at 60W, with a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius at 1cm from the lamp.
