- The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.
- Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.
4.2 Attaching the Auxiliary Handle
The 360° rotatable auxiliary handle can be adjusted for optimal control. Loosen the handle grip, rotate it to the desired position, and tighten securely.
4.3 Installing/Removing SDS-Plus Bits
- Clean the shank of the SDS-Plus bit.
- Pull back the chuck collar and insert the bit into the chuck.
- Rotate the bit slightly until it locks into place. Release the chuck collar.
- Pull on the bit to ensure it is securely locked. A slight axial play is normal for SDS-Plus systems.
- To remove, pull back the chuck collar and pull the bit out.

4.4 Inserting the Depth Ruler
Insert the depth ruler into the designated hole on the auxiliary handle. Adjust it to the desired drilling depth and secure it by tightening the handle.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Selecting Operating Mode
The Tegatok Rotary Hammer Drill offers three main operating modes, selected via the 3 Functions Switch:

- Drill Mode (Rotation Only): For drilling in wood, metal, plastic, and other materials that do not require hammering action.
- Drill & Hammer Mode (Rotation with Hammering): For drilling in concrete, masonry, and stone.
- Hammer Mode (Hammering Only): For chiseling, chipping, or demolition work.
Additionally, the tool supports Chisel Angle Adjustment for optimal positioning during hammering tasks.

5.2 Forward and Reverse Operation
Use the Forward and Reverse Selector to change the direction of rotation. The forward setting is for drilling, while the reverse setting is useful for removing jammed drill bits or driving/removing screws (if applicable with appropriate accessories).

5.3 LED Work Light
The integrated LED light automatically activates when the trigger is pressed, illuminating your work surface for better visibility in dimly lit areas.

5.4 Safety Clutch
The safety clutch is designed to protect the user and the tool in case the drill bit jams. If the bit binds, the clutch will disengage the drive, preventing sudden torque reactions. Release the trigger immediately if this occurs.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your tool.
- Cleaning: Keep the ventilation openings clear and clean. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the tool. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Lubrication: The SDS-Plus chuck mechanism benefits from occasional lubrication with a small amount of grease to ensure smooth bit insertion and removal.
- Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not store fully discharged batteries for extended periods.
- Inspection: Periodically check for loose screws, damaged cords (if applicable), or worn parts. Replace any damaged parts immediately.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Tool does not start | Battery not charged or not inserted correctly. | Charge battery fully. Ensure battery is securely clicked into place. |
| Loss of power during operation | Battery charge is low. | Recharge the battery. |
| Bit not rotating or hammering | Incorrect mode selected. Bit not properly inserted. | Check the 3 Functions Switch. Re-insert the bit ensuring it locks. |
| Tool stops suddenly (Safety Clutch activated) | Drill bit jammed in material. | Release trigger, remove tool from material, clear obstruction, and restart. |
