Package Contents

Your Tribesigns Conference Table will be shipped in two separate parcels. Please ensure you have received both packages before beginning assembly. The packages typically contain the following components:

  • Tabletop sections (boat-shaped and black end sections)
  • Metal frame components
  • Table legs
  • Hardware pack (screws, bolts, washers, Allen wrench)
  • Cable grommet inserts
  • Assembly instructions

Note: Components may vary slightly. Please refer to the included assembly manual for an exact list of parts.

Assembly Instructions

Assembly of this conference table requires two people. Please follow these steps carefully:

  1. Unpack and Verify: Carefully unpack all components from both parcels. Lay them out on a clean, soft surface (e.g., carpet or a blanket) to prevent scratches. Verify all parts against the parts list in your included assembly manual.
  2. Assemble the Metal Frame: Connect the various metal frame components using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are secure but do not fully tighten screws until the entire frame is assembled.
  3. Attach Table Legs: Securely attach the table legs to the assembled metal frame. The table features sturdy metal legs with adjustable foot pads.
  4. Position Tabletop Sections: Carefully place the tabletop sections onto the assembled frame. Align the pre-drilled holes on the tabletop with the holes on the frame.
  5. Secure Tabletop: Attach the tabletop sections to the frame using the appropriate screws. Once all tabletop sections are in place, fully tighten all screws on the frame and legs.
  6. Install Cable Grommets: Insert the cable grommet covers into the designated cutouts on the tabletop.
  7. Adjust Leveling Feet: Once the table is fully assembled and in its desired location, adjust the foot pads on the bottom of the legs to ensure the table is stable and level on uneven floors.

If you encounter any difficulties during assembly, please refer to the detailed diagrams and instructions in the separate assembly manual provided with your product.

Operating Instructions

The Tribesigns Conference Table is designed for straightforward use. Its primary functional feature is the integrated cable management system.

Cable Management

The table features two convenient grommet hole cutouts on the tabletop. These allow you to discreetly route power cords, network cables, and other wires from your devices (laptops, projectors, etc.) down through the table and into open channels inside the legs. This helps maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free meeting surface.

  • To use, simply lift the cover of the grommet.
  • Pass your cables through the opening.
  • Replace the cover to keep the tabletop neat.

Care and Maintenance

Proper care will help preserve the appearance and extend the life of your conference table.

  • Cleaning: Wipe the tabletop and metal frame with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn marks, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by wiping with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or polishes that may damage the laminate finish or metal.
  • Spills: Immediately wipe up any spills to prevent staining or damage to the wood particle board.
  • Heat and Moisture: Use coasters under hot beverages and placemats under dishes to protect the surface from heat and moisture rings.
  • Sunlight: Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can cause fading or discoloration over time.
  • Inspections: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain stability.

Troubleshooting

Here are solutions to common issues you might encounter:

  • Table Wobbles: If the table feels unstable, check that all assembly screws are tightened. Use the adjustable foot pads on the bottom of the legs to level the table on uneven surfaces. Rotate the foot pads clockwise or counter-clockwise until stability is achieved.
  • Cables Not Fitting Through Grommets: Ensure that the grommet covers are fully removed. If cables are still too thick, consider using thinner cables or alternative cable management solutions.
  • Scratches or Dents: While the laminate finish is scratch-resistant, extreme impact can cause damage. For minor scratches, furniture repair kits designed for laminate surfaces may be used.

User Tips

  • For optimal cable management, consider using cable ties or sleeves to bundle wires together before routing them through the grommets.
  • When moving the table, always lift it rather than dragging it to prevent damage to the legs and floor.
  • Regularly clean the table surface to maintain its professional appearance, especially in high-traffic meeting areas.
