  • Wax Guards: Use the provided wax guard and tool to prevent wax buildup in the sound outlet, which can affect sound quality.

Troubleshooting

Howling/Whistling Noise

Howling or whistling can occur when the internal amplifier and microphone are too close, causing a feedback loop. This is common in small and high-power hearing aids. To minimize or eliminate this:

  • Volume Adjustment: Always adjust the volume to the minimum before wearing, then gradually increase it to avoid sudden loud sounds and howling.
  • Earplug Fit: Ensure the earplug is properly seated and creates an airtight seal in your ear canal. Experiment with different earplug sizes (from large to small) to find the best fit.
  • Insertion Technique: After inserting the hearing aid into the ear canal, gently push the hearing aid with your fingers and hold it for 1-2 seconds to ensure the earplug matches the ear canal shape.
  • Cleanliness: Keep the earplug and ear canal clean.

No Sound or Low Sound

  • Check Battery: Ensure the hearing aid is fully charged.
  • Volume Level: Verify the volume is not set to minimum. Adjust using the physical buttons or the app.
  • Earplug Blockage: Inspect the earplug for wax or debris. Clean if necessary.
  • Device Connection: For app control, ensure the device is properly connected via Bluetooth.

App Connection Issues

  • Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
  • App Permissions: Check if the app has necessary permissions (e.g., Bluetooth, location) on your phone.
  • Restart: Try restarting both the hearing aid (by placing it in and out of the charging case) and the smartphone app.
  • Re-pair: If issues persist, try unpairing and re-pairing the device within the app.
