4. Setup

4.1 SIM Card Installation

The device requires a 2G GSM SIM card to function. Ensure the SIM card is active and has sufficient credit for GPRS data and SMS services. Open the device casing (refer to the product diagram for SIM card slot location) and insert the SIM card correctly. Close the casing securely.

4.2 Wiring Diagram

  • Black Wire: Connect to (-) Power (Ground).
  • Violet Wire: Connect to SOS button.
  • Green Wire: Connect to (+) Door trigger (if positive trigger type).
  • Red Wire: Connect to (+) Power (via 3A fuse).
  • Blue Wire: Connect to (-) Door trigger (if negative trigger type).
  • White Wire: Connect to ACC (Accessory power).
  • Orange Wire: Connect to MIC (Microphone).
  • Pink Wire: Connect to (+) Alarm siren. This wire can also be connected to the original car alarm horn or an alarm horn purchased separately.
  • Brown Wire: Connect to Fuel sensor (0-5V).
  • White with Black Wire: Connect to Oil and power cut relay.
  • Yellow Wire: Connect to the car engine & oil line / fuel pump.

Important Notes:

  • The vehicle door trigger type can be either positive or negative. Connect the green wire for a positive trigger and the blue wire for a negative trigger.
  • Install the SOS button in a location easily accessible by the driver.

4.3 Initial Power On

After wiring, ensure all connections are secure. Power on the device. Observe the GPS/POWER/GSM status lights on the unit. Refer to the LED indicator section (if available in the full manual) for status interpretation.

  2. Register an Account: Open the BAANOOL IoT app, register a new user account, and log in.

  1. Access Platform: Open your web browser and navigate to http://www.baanool.net.
  2. Register/Login: Your account name and password are the same as for the mobile app. If you haven't registered, click the 'Register account' link and follow the prompts to create a new account using the device's IMEI number.
