2. Safety Information and Warnings

  • Ensure the system is properly grounded.
  • The battery must be installed in a location suitable for electronic devices, maintaining a safe temperature range for stable operation.
  • Do not install the product in harsh environments, where ambient temperatures are outside 0-55°C, or near hazardous/flammable/corrosive chemicals or vapors.
  • Avoid placing the unit near radiators, cookers, or enclosures that may cause overheating.
  • Do not immerse the product in liquid.
  • Ensure all fasteners are properly tightened.
  • Do not burn, crush, or puncture the battery.
  • In case of electrical odor or overheating, safely disconnect circuit breakers and immediately contact the fire department.
  • If battery fluid (electrolyte) or flammable gas leaks and comes into contact with eyes or skin, flush the affected area with running water for 15 minutes and seek immediate medical assistance.
  • In the event of a fire, do NOT use water. Use only dry powder fire extinguishers. If possible, move the battery pack to a safe location before it catches fire.

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Unpacking and Inspection

  1. Carefully unpack the All-in-One Home Energy Storage System.
  2. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage during transit. If damage is found, do not proceed with installation and contact your supplier immediately.
  3. Verify that all components listed in the packing list are present. The package should include the All-in-One Home Energy Storage unit and a User Manual.

3.2 Preparatory Work

  • Ensure the product is in an off state before beginning any installation work.
  • It is highly recommended that the installation of equipment be performed by a professional electrician/technician.

3.3 Tools Required for Installation

  • Suitable size Phillips screwdriver/torque spanner
  • Riveting pliers
  • Cables and lugs for connecting the battery. Ensure correct cable size for safe current and lugs conform to battery pack dimensions.

3.4 Environmental and Mounting Considerations

  • **Location**: Choose a location that is not in harsh environments, free from hazardous/flammable/corrosive chemicals or vapors.
  • **Temperature**: Ensure the ambient temperature remains between 0°C and 55°C for optimal operation.
  • **Heat Sources**: Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, collectors, or furnaces to prevent heat transfer to the battery or excessive heat in the enclosure.
  • **Obstructions**: Ensure that other objects and surfaces allow enough room for heat dissipation and easy removal of wires.
  • **Children/Pets**: Do not install where children or pets are present or likely to be present.
  • **Mounting**: If wall-mounted, ensure it is on a solid wall and not on flammable building materials. Vertical mounting is recommended.
  • **LCD Visibility**: Mount the unit at eye level so that the LCD display can be easily read at all times.
  • **Wiring**: Ensure all wiring is properly grounded, twisted, and tightened.

4. Operating Instructions

The system features an intelligent color touch screen for easy operation and navigation between multiple pages, offering a smoother user experience and longer service life compared to traditional buttons.

4.1 Basic Operations

To turn on the power, first press the battery switch, then the inverter switch.

  • Battery ON/OFF: Press the "Battery Switch Button". The work indicator and power indicator lights will illuminate.
  • Inverter ON/OFF: Press the "Inverter Switch Button". The inverter display will light up.
  • PV ON/OFF: Turn on the PV switch and ensure the PV cable is connected. The product will begin AC charging. Turning off the PV switch stops the PV input.
  • AC Input ON/OFF: Turn on the AC input switch and ensure external AC power is on. The product will begin AC charging. Turning off the AC switch stops the AC input.
  • AC Output ON/OFF: Turn on the AC Output switch. The AC Output port will connect to an external load device, and the product will start powering the external load. Turning off the AC switch stops the AC output.

  • Ensure heat dissipation holes are clear of obstructions to maintain proper airflow.

6. Troubleshooting

The DATOUBOSS DT-6016 system is equipped with multiple protection functions to ensure safe and reliable operation. If the system encounters an issue, it may trigger one of these protections.

  • System Shutdown/Alarm: If the system shuts down unexpectedly or an alarm indicator lights up, check the LCD display for error codes or messages. Refer to the 'Device Info' section in the LCD menu for detailed diagnostics.
  • Overcharge/Over-Discharge Protection: The system automatically protects against overcharge (recovery voltage 54.08V) and over-discharge (protection voltage 43.2V, recovery voltage 46.4V). If these protections are triggered, the system will cease charging/discharging until conditions normalize.
  • Overcurrent Protection: The system has discharge overcurrent protection at 160A and charge overcurrent protection at 160A. If an overcurrent event occurs, the system will protect itself.
  • Temperature Protection: The system includes high and low-temperature protection for both charging and discharging. For example, charge low-temperature protection threshold is 0°C, and discharge low-temperature protection threshold is -20°C. Ensure the operating environment is within the specified temperature range.
  • Short-Circuit Protection: In case of a short circuit, the system will activate protection. Recovery methods include removing the load and initiating a charge release.
  • Electrical Odor/Overheating: If you detect an electrical odor or notice overheating, immediately and safely disconnect all circuit breakers and contact a qualified technician or emergency services.
  • Battery Leakage: If battery fluid or flammable gas leaks, follow the safety instructions in Section 2.
  • No Power Output: Check if the Battery ON/OFF and Inverter ON/OFF switches are correctly engaged. Verify AC Input and PV Input connections if applicable.
