This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your meterk YS-S100L Portable Bluetooth Power Amplifier Module. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure optimal performance and safety. The YS-S100L is a versatile 2.1-channel power amplifier featuring Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, designed to deliver clear treble, gentle midrange, and powerful bass.

Follow these steps to set up your YS-S100L amplifier module:

1. Assembly (if required): If your module is not pre-assembled, use the provided screwdriver to attach the upper and lower covers and button caps as shown in the exploded view diagram. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.



2. Power Connection: Connect a DC 5-24V power supply (not included) to the 'Power supply interface' on the module. Ensure the power supply polarity is correct.
3. Speaker Connection: Connect your left, right, and subwoofer speakers to the corresponding output terminals. Pay close attention to the polarity (+/-) for each speaker. Ensure your speakers meet the recommended wattage and impedance (10-100W/4-8Ω for stereo, 20-200W/4-8Ω for bass).
4. Audio Input: Choose your preferred audio input method:
   • Bluetooth: Power on the module. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. On your mobile device, search for Bluetooth devices and select "YS-S100L" to connect.
   • AUX Input: Connect an audio source (e.g., smartphone, tablet, computer) to the 'AUX audio input' port using a 3.5mm audio cable.
   • USB Disk/Sound Card: Insert a USB disk into the 'U disk' port or connect a USB sound card to the 'USB sound card input' port.

6. Operation

Once connected, you can control the amplifier using the onboard knobs or a connected mobile device:

1. Master Volume (Master Level): The leftmost knob controls the overall output volume. A short press will play/pause audio, while a long press will turn the unit on/off. A 360-degree rotation allows for automatic tuning.
2. Subwoofer Controls:
   • Subwoofer Frequency (20-200Hz): Adjust the frequency cutoff for the subwoofer output using the dedicated knob.
   • Subwoofer Volume: Control the volume level specifically for the subwoofer.
3. Left and Right Channel Controls:
   • Treble: Adjust the high-frequency output for the stereo channels.
   • Bass: Adjust the low-frequency output for the stereo channels.
4. Mobile Control: When connected via Bluetooth, you can use your mobile phone to manage playback mode, adjust sound effects, and switch between songs.

7. User Tips

• For optimal sound quality, ensure that your speakers' wattage and impedance ratings are compatible with the amplifier's specifications.
• Experiment with the individual treble, bass, and subwoofer controls to fine-tune the audio output to your personal preference and room acoustics.
• Maintain a clear line of sight and keep your Bluetooth device within the 15-meter range for an uninterrupted wireless connection.
• If experiencing any interference, try moving the amplifier or connected devices away from other electronic equipment.

8. Troubleshooting

• No Sound Output:
  • Verify that the power supply is correctly connected and the module is powered on.
  • Check all speaker connections for correct polarity and secure fit.
  • Ensure the selected audio input source (Bluetooth, AUX, USB) is active and properly connected.
  • Increase the Master Volume knob.
• Distorted Sound:
  • Reduce the Master Volume or the volume level on your audio source.
  • Confirm that your speakers' impedance matches the amplifier's requirements (4-8Ω).
  • Check for any frayed or shorting speaker wires.
• Bluetooth Connection Issues:
  • Ensure the amplifier is in Bluetooth pairing mode (often indicated by a flashing LED).
  • Make sure your mobile device's Bluetooth is enabled and within the 15-meter range.
  • Try 'forgetting' the device on your phone's Bluetooth settings and re-pairing.
  • Restart both the amplifier and your mobile device.
• Overheating:
  • Ensure the amplifier has adequate ventilation and is not covered.
  • Check if the speaker impedance is too low, which can cause the amplifier to work harder and generate more heat. The module has built-in overheating protection and may shut down automatically if it gets too hot.

9. Maintenance

• Keep the amplifier module clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
• Avoid exposing the module to moisture, extreme temperatures, or direct sunlight.
